How to Pick Out New Drop Shank for Weight Distribution With New, Taller Truck

I just purchased a 2016 ram 2500 outdoorsman I own a 2016 outback 326rl my Reese weight distribution hitch was set up for my old 2013 1500 I know I need a new shank any idea what it is a 1200lb hitch with anti sway any ideas

To determine the amount of drop you would need would be pretty easy. You will need to measure from the top of the hitch opening on your 2016 Ram 2500 to the ground and then compare that dimension to the distance from the bottom of the coupler on your trailer to the ground when level. The difference between those two dimensions is the drop you would need.
The part # RP54998 that you referenced can do a drop of 2-3/4 inches so it most likely wouldn't be enough, but the # RP3215 would give you up to 6-3/4 inches drop. Or the part # RP3344 can do up to 7-5/8 inches of drop.
