Distance Between Hangers When Using Hanger Kit part # APTT5 with 26 inch Long Trailer Leaf Spring
Question:
is it possible to bolt these on, do they have a hole in the top of the hanger? Id like to test mount prior to permanently affixing them. What is the greatest distance between axles you can achieve with 26inch double eye springs? Thank you for your time.

Expert Reply:
There aren't holes through the top of the hangers that come with the # APTT5 so there wouldn't be a way to bolt them to your trailer.
If the springs you have are 26 inches long you would need to have a distance of 34-3/4 inches between each hanger.
Typically this kit is used on 25-1/4 inch springs like the # e28SR which then would call for 34 inches between the hangers on center.
