Replacement Axle Parts for Superior 24 3 Dexter Axle Equipment Beaver Tail Trailer

Question:

The brake assemblies are welded to the axles. I dont find any replacement assemblies that are exactly set up for that. I have measured the shoes and they are 12x2inch and the hub is cast with 8-133 Dexter 5 bolt pattern. I suspect that these are replacement axles may have have been welded on after manufacture. What is capacity of these axles and what is the right assembly and replacement parts? The magnet i have identified as BP01-140. There are no numbers that can be found on any of the parts. Ignore the jpg file as i cant get it d after it was ed in error.

The 8-133 hub is a mobile home axle hub. Typically these hubs are very hard to find replacement parts for since they are designed for one time use.

I recommend replacing the entire axle and its setup, it is likely that the weight capacity is between 5,200-7,000lbs, since they are 12 inch brakes. We offer an 5,200 axle-less system by Timbren # ASR5200S04 that uses the same inner and outer bearing numbers that the 8-133 axle did according to Dexter.

If you wanted to try to replace the ones you have you could torch off the current assembly and get all new brakes, mounting flanges, and internal parts. My contact at Dexter told me that the 8-133 axle originally came with the inner bearing # 25580, outer bearing # LM67048, and grease seal # GS-2125DL.

For manual adjusted brakes you will need the following parts:
Hub and Drum assembly # 8-201-5UC3 (includes inner and outer bearings and seals)
Mounting flange # 4-44-1
Left Hand Brake # 23-105
Right Hand Brake # 23-106
Inner Bearing # 25580
Outer Bearing # LM67048
Grease Seal # GS-2125DL

For Nev-R-Adjust brakes:
Hub and Drum assembly # 8-201-5UC3-EZ (includes inner and outer bearings and seals)
Mounting flange # 4-44-1
Left Hand Brake # 23-458
Right Hand Brake # 23-459
Inner Bearing # 25580
Outer Bearing # LM67048
Grease Seal # GS-2125DL

I have linked all the above products for your convenience.
