How Close To Bumper Is Bestop TrekStep Truck Bumper Step When Retracted On 2010 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
I am interested it the Bestop B75300 step for the side of the bed of my truck. How close is the step to the truck when in the retracted position? The truck shown in your picture shows it very close. Would it be the same for my 2010 Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab? Thanks,

I called my contact at Bestop and they told me that the distance from the bumper when the TrekStep Truck Bumper Step, part # B75300 is retracted is about 1 to 1-1/2 inches.
It would be similar to the truck shown in the attached video.
