Recommended Ladder Rack And Tonneau Cover For 2013 Chevrolet Silverado With 6-1/2-Ft Bed
Question:
I am looking for info on Tonneau covers and headache/ladder racks working together. I want something that will give me full use of the bed and allow me to carry longer objects without resting them on the top of the cab. My truck is a 2013 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.5foot bed and does not have the cargo management system. What options do I have, and what do you recommend? What if I was on a limited budget? What if money was no object? Thank you for your help.

We do offer a Tonneau cover that will work with a ladder rack system for your 2013 Silverado. We do not offer a Tonneau cover or ladder rack that will work with a headache rack.
The ladder rack I recommend is the Invis-A-Rack Folding Ladder Rack, part # DZ951600, and the TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft Tonneau Cover, part # TX571197.
The TX571197 is a pop-up ladder rack that has a 500-lb weight capacity. This rack also has a foldaway feature when not needed, and has a small storage box built-in on each side. This is an easy no-drill installation and includes all of the hardware needed.
The TX571197 mounts to the rails of the DZ951600. This cover has spring-loaded tension that keeps the cover wrinkle free and makes it easy to roll up the cover when you need the bed of your truck.
Another ladder rack you may be interested in is the TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part # TH43002XT-501. This attaches to the stake pockets on your truck bed rails and adjusts so you can move the ladder rack crossbars to the distance you need.
A Tonneau cover that would work with the TA21501-02 is the Access Original Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover, part # 834532007424. I have attached a link to a product review for this cover you can check out.
