How to Determine if a Cargo Box Has Enough Clearance to Clear SUV Antenna

I just purchased a 2016 Acura MDX with factory rails and crossbars, my current Thule Atlantis 1600 is hitting the Sharkfin antenna. Is there a box that will fit and accommodate my 172 skis? Thanks

You will need to slide your front crossbar as far forward as possible (it it's adjustable), and then you will need to measure from the center of the bar to the antenna. That's how much front clearance you will need to install a cargo box.

I attached a picture that has all of the front clearance dimensions for all of the Thule cargo boxes.

I also attached a link to a page that has all of the Thule cargo boxes we carry too. As long as you go with one that is size L or larger your skis will fit.
