I am unable to find any measurements for the 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 2Wd with a 6 foot box. I need to know the measurement to drill the 3.5 inch hole. Any help would be appreciated.

On your short bed 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 measure from the rear edge of the bed (not the tailgate) forward 41-5/8 inches. That is the center of where the drilled ball hole will be for gooseneck trailer hitch # 9460-39. I have linked the instructions and a video showing an example installation for you.
