Will Master Lock Coupler Lock for 1-7/8 and 2 Inch Couplers Fit a Hand Wheel Coupler

I have a turn knob no latch that tightens the coupling grip to the ball. Also have a TITAN Breakaway system over my 2inch coupler. Question involves the one smaller bolt on the side of the coupler holding the coupler grip. If you remove it, the entire coulpler grip disconnects from the coupler. Wouldnt that allow the 377DAT to enough to be removed?

I suppose that is true. There are many ways to defeat a lock. I found a couple more ways to do it while looking over couplers with hand wheels. A thief would have to have the right tools if they happened upon you trailer. Then they would need to take the time to remove the bolt, take out the lock, reassemble everything correctly so the trailer will still couple to a ball, and then hitch up to the trailer.

Usually the mere presence of a lock is a deterrent; a would-be thief would move on to an easier target. But you can add another level of security by using a wheel lock such as # RA-25. It's hard to be discrete when you are dragging a trailer behind you!
