Will Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness C56040 Provide Power Supply To Trailer

Question:
I have a question about the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. This unit only operates vehicle lights and does not provide a power supply to the trailer. Is that correct?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56040 will provide brake, tail, and left and right turn lights to a trailer with a 4-way flat connector. This wiring harness will not provide your trailer with a power supply.
The harness requires a power supply because of the taillight converter built into the harness. The converter works to match the Subaru Forester's separate lighting with the trailer connector's combined lighting.
