How to Pick Out Slipper Spring for a Jon Boat Trailer


The best I can measure on 1 eye slipper leaf springs. left weak one A 22 right best one A 21.5 C 3.5 C 4.5 D 9.5 D 8.5 1inch lower What will work ? Will this wear tires?

Your trailer has pretty short slipper springs. Since we don't have any slipper springs short enough your best option is going to be to determine what spring capacity you would need and then get the correct spring for that and then move the hangers of your trailer so that it will accommodate the spring.

I attached a page that has a chart with all of the slipper springs we carry for you to check out.

Having a trailer sitting lower on one side than the other has potential for tire wear as worn components can cause strange tire wear.
