Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2013 Ford F-150

I have an F150 supercab, 4x4, 2013, with the 6.5 bed and rated at 7700lbs Currently I am looking at RP56006-53 for the rails and mounting brackets. The hitch is RP 30869 or 30075 undecided, prefer tubes vs rails I do not want to use the grease but prefer to use the Teflon disc, what is the recommendation. Will this interfere with the locking of the fifth wheel. I have the factory 7 and 4 way plug setup so what would be the recommended wiring harness to use, there are multiple setups ie: Pollack, Bargman, Draw-Tite. Thank you

For your 2013 Ford F-150 6.5 foot bed I recommend the Reese Titan 16 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30869. The premium serrated dual jaw on the Titan provides an even, secure closure, ensuring the king pin has 360 degrees of contact in the trailer hitch. This secure connection means the trailer will have minimal jarring and chucking. The # RP30075 has dual jaws as well, but the Titan is Reese's step up from their traditional fifth wheel hitch.

The lube plate Reese recommends for use with the Reese Titan is # 83003. This lube plate is custom designed to work with the Reese Titan 16, and it will require drilling to mount to the hitch. If you do not wish to drill into your hitch, you could use # RP83004.

For a wiring harness, I recommend the Hopkins Endurance 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 41157. This wiring harness has a T-style connector that allows you to connect the wiring harness into your factory wiring harness with one connector and the 4- and 7-way connector with the other. Here at, we have installed many Hopkins fifth wheel wiring harnesses and have found them to be quality products.
