If your owner's manual does not state the truck's towing capacity there is a simple way to determine this using the information on the driver's door jamb plate or sticker.
Locate the truck's GCWR (gross combined weight rating) and from this subtract its GVW (gross vehicle weight). The difference between these two figures is the maximum towing capacity of the vehicle when it is loaded.
