Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier Recommendation for a Motorhome

Question:

I am looking for a spare tire carrier for the back of my class A motor home. The tire size is 295/75R22.5 and it weighs 150 pounds. The tire is 39 inches tall with a 10 hole bolt pattern 3 1/2inch on center and 11and 1/4 inch center to center across. Will the C31006 bolt pattern match up ? If this carrier will not work do you have one that will ?

As long as can install a hitch at the rear of your motorhome the Curt Spare Tire Carrier part # C31006 that you referenced would work very well for you. I attached a review video for you to check out as well.

Now, the weight capacity on this spare tire carrier will be the same as the tongue weight capacity of the hitch that's installed on it.

If your hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds, this will be able to hold the 350 pounds. You just want to make sure that the weight of this spare tire carrier, and the weight of your wheel and tire, will not exceed that tongue weight capacity on the hitch.

This carrier can accommodate virtually any bolt pattern so it would work well for your tire size.
