Drop Weight Distribution Shank Recommendation that is 18-1/4 inches from Top to Bottom

Question:

I currently use a Reese WD Hitch with trunnion style bars. The shank I have measures 12inch from the very top of the vertical piece piece with holes in it to the very bottom. When I install my bottom head bolt in the bottom hoe that only gives me about 1 1/2inch from center pin to top of ball. Even at this lowest setting my camper tongue is slightly pointing up in the front and trailering poorly. The only shank I am finding with a larger is the Curt where the vertical piece is over 20inch long. Is there something in between with 16-18inch of ? Again these numbers are measuring from the top of the horizontal piece to the bottom of the vertical piece piece with mounting holes to give me a 4 or 5 inch from the top of the ball to center pin hole? Thanks

The Curt Weight Distribution Shank part # C17125 that you referenced can do a drop of up to 14-1/2 inches and has a distance of 22-1/2 inches from the top of the shank down to the bottom of it.

The part # C17123 can do a drop of up to 12-1/4 inches which means it would be 18-1/4 inches from top of the shank down to the bottom. Based on what you said you needed this should work great for you.
