Dimensions From the Mounting Faceplate to Backside of the Lighting Unit on the Optronics Tail Light
Question:
I am considering item STL78RB and would like to know the dimension from the back of the mounting faceplate to the back of the lighting unit.

I went to our warehouse to get the Optronics oval LED tail light # STL78RB to provide the measurement you requested.
From the backside of mounting plate to back of the lighting unit is flush. You will be able to mount it without any modifications other than a hole big enough for the wires to pass through. I made a short video for you to view.
I also included a video review of the Optronics LED tail light too.
