Do the Loops on Curt Front Mount Receiver Take the Place of Tow Hooks on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
Do the two U shaped bars act as replacements for the tow hooks? I had my mechanic install this on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and he removed the factory tow hooks.

The front u-shaped loops on the Curt front mount hitch # C31033 can be used as safety chain loops, tie down points, or tow hook functions. The hitch technically does not fit models with factory tow hooks which is why your mechanic had to remove them.
