A brake controller isn't a vehicle specific item. It'll work on just about any vehicle.
If the truck has a 7-way trailer connector, the install will be very simple. You'll access the brake controller connector that's located under the dash to the right of the steering column right next to the OBD port. Once the controller is plugged in using the # 22292 wring adapter and mounted to the underside of the dash according to the installation instructions, you'll be good to go.
If you have the 4-pole, the install will be similar with the controller plugging into the connector described above but at the rear of the vehicle you'll use the # 37185 adapter. The adapter plugs into the existing 4-pole, with the remaining wires connecting as shown in the video I've linked you to.
