Installed the Timbren Axle-less suspension a little over a year ago and approximately 5000 miles ago. I have been extremely satisfied with the installation and performance thus far and have had no issues. I also chose to install an optional crossmember for more strength using a 1/4" thick piece of 2x3 steel. I had to increase the weight capacity of my campers suspension due to renovating the interior completely and adding more weight. I also strengthened the frame to accommodate the extra weight. In addition to installing the Timbren 5200LB system I installed new 12" electric brakes and upgraded to 225/75R15 tires with E load range rating.

Very exicited about these axels, I have been eyeing these for over a year. (Excellent service from etrailer, they had my parts to me in 1 day from the time of placing the order.) These axles seem to be well made and fit nicely with the Dexter hub and drum assembly and the 12" electric brake kit. I installed this all on a M1101/M1102 trailer frame after removing the factory axel assembly. I have not ran these on the road or off as of yet but will give another review at that time. The fit and finish are great and the packaging was good, a little banged up from shipping (missing 1 washer)

Parts Needed To Install Timbren 5,200 Lb Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System
In order to use the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System part # TASR5200S03 you will just need an idler hub assuming you do in fact not want to use brakes of any kind. For this, the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly part # 42655UC1 will be an excellent match but aside from this nothing else will be needed besides the wheels, tires and lug nuts of your choosing. The hardware needed for installation is included with the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System so you will be good to go with just the idler hubs and lug nuts part # AM90049.

Upgrading from D35 Dexter 3,500 Lb Axle to 5,200 Lb Timbren Axle-Less Suspension
Technically, there isn't a reason why you couldn't replace your Dexter 3,500 lb axle with a higher-rated one. That being said, that doesn't automatically increase your trailer's weight capacity. You would still be limited by the lowest-rated component and that can be something other than the axle, such as the trailer's frame. If you reach out to the trailer manufacturer, they should be able to tell you which is the lowest rated component on your trailer. Now, in order to convert to the 5,200 lb Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # TASR5200S03, you will need new hubs and unfortunately, new brakes as well. The reason for this is because the hubs that are compatible with this new system are the # 8-201-5UC3-EZ, which are 12 inch diameter hubs and thus, take 12 x 2 inch brakes, like # AKEBRK-6, whereas your current set-up uses 10 inch diameter hubs with 10 x 2-1/4 inch brakes. Additionally, the new hubs use a 6 on 5-1/2 wheel bolt pattern and from what I can tell in your photo, your existing set-up is a 5-lug instead. This means that you're also looking at replacing your trailer wheels, and potentially the tires as well. If you can confirm the exact tire size, load range, and wheel bolt pattern, I'll gladly look into it further and confirm which additional parts you will or won't need. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, I've attached a few helpful articles as well as a link with all the parts mentioned above.

The dexter hub and drums came complete with all the required new installation components that made installation simple and easy. My brake magnets had grooved the inside on some of the original drums, and I noted a broken brake wire at the axle entry so I wound up replacing the brake assembly, wiring, and hub and drums on all four wheels to restore the RV to full brake efficiency and safe function. In the future I'll add visual inspection of the brake wiring to my list of annual and pretrip inspections.

I have purchased from eTrailer numerous times and have always received excellent service and customer support. I had a technical question about available Dexter hub/drum kits and got a reply very quickly despite it being submitted on a weekend. I was able order what I needed and delivery was very prompt. These are genuine Dexter components and exactly what I needed to get my tired axles back in perfect condition The drums are an exact match and are high quality, as are all the parts that come with this kit. I don’t experience such good customer relations very often these days, so eTrailer really shines in my opinion.

Replacement Hub and Drum Assembly For Older Drum Marked HD-1206
The HD-1206 number you found on your drum cross references to the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 # 8-201-5 which is a 12" x 2" drum with the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern you mentioned but has wheel studs instead of holes for wheel bolts. The # 8-201-5 requires inner bearing # 25580, outer bearing # LM67048, grease seal # RG06-090, and grease cap # RG04-080 as these are not included. I included a video of the # 8-201-5 for you to take a look at.

Changed out all four brakes on my FW. E Trailer brand brake kit is well made and just as good as the costly name brand. After a year and about 6k miles brakes are fine no problems at all.

Replacement Brake Assemblies for 2012 Jayco Eagle HT 26.5RLS
Hey Scott, since we know your 2012 Jayco Eagle Super Lite HT 26.5RLS has 12 inch brake assemblies the best solution for a replacement would be the etrailer part # AKEBRK-7-SA which we know fit and work great. These are self adjusting too which means you would not have to worry about ever having to manually adjust them.

Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Lincoln Nautilus
Yes, it does! The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch item # EH86SR is confirmed to fit all models of the 2023 Lincoln Nautilus including the Reserve. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Lincoln with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 500 lbs maximum tongue weight. I really like EcoHitch item # EH86SR for two reasons. The 2" receiver is completely removable and the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper. This means when you're not using the hitch you won't see it at all. If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C66CR and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
