Adapt your camper shell, hard tonneau, or hardtop resin roof to carry gear with this roof-rack system. Locking, Quick Mount legs mount to tracks. Black, Vortex Aero crossbars accommodate clamp-on and channel-mount gear.

The bases of these Rhino Rack legs easily mount into the included Rhino-Rack RTC-style roof rack tracks with included hardware. Just slide the nuts into the tracks, line up the mounting plates, and bolt the bases down. After this initial setup, you can leave the bases in the tracks.
Molded inserts help keep out dirt and provide a finished look when there are no legs and crossbars installed. To install a leg, simply remove the insert.
Once you've set up the bases, installing and removing your roof rack is easy. The Quick Mount legs have an integrated trigger system that creates an easy, tool-free installation.
To install a leg in a base, pinch and slide the internal triggers together.
Lower the leg onto the base and slide the internal triggers apart to secure the leg in the base.
Once the leg is installed in the base, replace the cover and lock it to help secure the system to your roof.

It's a little intimidating drilling holes in the roof of my pick up truck cap, but it's only fiberglass and installed pretty easily. I've hauled a queen sized box spring, some extension ladders, and some kayaks with no issues. Very easy to remove cross bars when not needed, and not too difficult to reinstall when needed.
This Rhino Rack roof rack system worked out very well for me. I installed it myself and took my time doing it. The rack system will work great with my RTT. It's easy to adjust and looks great on truck.
For the installation, I decided to use a center line down the middle of my canopy (shell) as my reference point for all measurements. I simply identified the middle of the third brake light on the shell and the third brake light on the back of the cab. I then snapped a chalk line from those points to mark the middle of the canopy. This method worked out great and the rails are perfectly parallel to each other.
The folks at etrailer.com were especially helpful. I had a slight glitch with a minor part in the kit and Bill at e-trailer got it resolved very quickly. He even followed up by calling me directly to give me an update. Truly exceptional customer service. Thanks to all at etrailer. They will definitely get more of my business.
The Rhino T-Load Hitch and Vortex Aero roof rack system are very well designed, strong and straightforward installations. We have a Hobie Tandem Island sailing kayak, 18.5' long and around 200 lbs. on the roof racks / T-hitch, it is very solid. The T-hitch assembled in 15 minutes. Had my neighbors, both engineers, not come over to "help" with the roof rack install it would have been done in an hour. Lesson learned, keep the software developers over in their yard during install, away from power tools, no drilling allowed. Rhino systems and support staff are outstanding. Definitely recommend these products and the company.
I purchased this rack system for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Willy's Wheeler edition - 2 door! There are lots of products out there that are listed for the 4 door but the two door model is more difficult to shop for.
The racks shipped immediately and were here in just a few days. All the parts were there, properly labeled and provided with clear instructions.
To properly fit my small roof, I took the two roof rails to a local machine shop and had them cut them to exactly 35.5". This allowed me to mount the tracks in the outermost groove on the roof and gave me the greatest possible length.
One problem that I had (and had predicted) is that the inside of the Jeep roof has a lip on the inside that interferes with the provided knobs seating properly against the inside of the roof. The local hardware store had no nuts (NOTHING) that would fit the threads of the provided T-Bolts. I ended up temporarily using solid metal spacers to fill the gap and allow me to tighten the provided knobs against the spacer which is against a rubber gasket and then the inner roof!
It worked! In the meantime, I will continue to search for some safety nuts that will fit the Rhino provided T-Bolts.
The rack looks great, is solid as a rock and easy to put on and remove! Now I can comfortably carry our kayaks and/or paddle boards to the lake!
Bought this a few weeks ago and finally got around to installing it yesterday. Overall it is very easy to install. I assembled everything in my shop and set the rails about 1 inch wider that what I actually wanted them to be. Put the whole assembly on the roof the the camper shell and centered using a soft seamstress tape measure. Once centered I marked the holes, i then cut the rails down 3 inches and put it back on the roof. I am real OCD so everything was measured precise and equal. Once I was ready to drill holes I measured everything again and once I got up my nerve I drilled all 16 holes in the roof. I did not use the butyl supplied with the racks, instead I used windshield urethane ( I installed windshield in a previous life). I then lined everything up and installed the rails. Before screwing down I put some large D-rings in place and the tightened the lock nuts. The D-rings will allow me to hang things from them. Now I am just waiting to strap my surfboards to the top and head to the beach.
My kit is missing the track leg base, cover, and all associated mounting hardware. Customer service cannot confirm expedited shipping for the missing parts. A little quality control goes a long way. I mounted the tracks in one afternoon, but will have to wait to mount the bars and my GEAR!
This product was exactly what I was looking for and suited my needs perfectly. The whole system is very well made and you can tell they paid attention to detail and functionality. Shipping was extremely quick and it was in perfect condition when it arrived. I really appreciate the fact that it's easily adjustable and removable. It came with 3 sets of instructions due to the mix of components, but they were concise and clear with good illustration.
Well engineered and sturdy. Good Directions but I thought they were a little hard to follow. I used Blue painters tape to hold bottom rails in place and get squared up on topper. I liked the way the bottom rail attaches to the topper. Probably figure on an afternoon to install. Only negative is my topper is 63 inches. Bottom rails were 63 inches. The end plugs stuck out three inches overlap. I cut them off. To Make this work, you need perfect 90 degree corners. My topper has curves so could not come in exactly 15 mm (why Metric) from end. So could not attach end plugs as directed. This will work well with my Porta Bote.
The rack itself is really nice, but the QC on the packaging is lacking. Mine showed up missing 4 o-rings to seal the t bolts through the roof. And there was no included Security Allan wrench for the security bolts. So I had to go buy new hardware. For what this kit cost I should have had extras of these parts not had to go spend more money just so I could complete the install. So if you plan to or do purchase this or any Rhino-rack product I would suggest opening everything up well before you plan to install and verifying you have everything that is needed. Other wise the rack looks and works great.
It’s a great product nice and sturdy. I use it to clear out my pick ups trunk to hang my fishing rods on the bars gives me more room to put in the bed of the pick up. I use the ski carrier to Carry my rods it’s just awesome
UPS delivered package broken and all hardware missing ... some extra taping would have solved the problem ... Have a hold now on the cc billing ... Shipping dept needs some training ...

I apologize for the missing hardware. Customer Service will be reaching out.
I installed this rack on my F-250 bed cap. The install went smooth. I did it completely by myself with a lot of ladder repositioning. Very happy with the quality of the rack. I’m able to get three full size bikes on top of the cap and free up a ton of cargo space for long trips with our travel trailer.

Still holding up strong. I store it inside in the winter. Re-installs in minutes
Pretty easy to install with the excellent video provided. If you follow the video, it’s a breeze! Excellent product!
Perfect for our needs. We have two of these racks on our work trucks and are about to purchase a third. The best feature for us is that the cross bars can be removed and stored. We only need to use the racks for a couple handful of jobs a year, so being able to take the racks on & off easy is a big plus.
Exactly what I was looking for.
We absolutely love this rack. I installed it myself on an ARE topper to carry my 2 kayaks. It does it very well. It was recommended by a guy that I had just met. He had the same feelings for it as I do now.
So far so good. I paid a professional (camper shell place) to install it and it took them a bit over an hour to do so. Looks great and I'm confident it will do the job. Whistling noise at speeds above 40 or so, but I have yet removed the crossbars - assuming it will be quieter when I do so.

Any time equipment is installed on the top of a vehicle, a certain amount of wind noise is unavoidable. You can minimize this by ensuring that the rubber strips are fully in place on the top and bottom surface of the crossbars. If any of the channel is exposed, the crossbar will be noisier. A fairing like part # RRRF4 would also further minimize the noise-causing turbulence.

It has been a good year with no problems. The rack is in great shape and still easy to use.
Product is installed on 2015 GMC Sierra extended cab with a fiberglass A.R.E. bed cap (6.5' bed). System works well and the bars are strong and solid. The cross-bars and risers can be removed quickly and easily (with the proper key) leaving only the pads clamped in place on the rails. Cross-bars and risers can be installed on the pads very quickly. Installation was straightforward and easy, except for the rubber strips that fill the grooves in the crossbars - those were the most difficult part of the installation - to get those to seat correctly (so I lowered rating by 1 star).
Nice quality product and I like how it attaches to the vehicle. It was easy to install. The unexpected downside is, these racks are slightly large diameter than those by Yakima. I own 4 or 5 Yakima accessories that I just assumed would mount on these as well, but none of them fit and there don't seem to be any adapters that will work.
Rack is very high quality. Quiet ride at all speeds. Installation video extremely helpful. The only issue I encountered was that the mounting bolts were bearly long enough to get through thickness of truck cap. I had to remove plastic thumb nuts and use thin fender washers to make it work. Very stressful situation after drilling 12 holes in my cap! These bolts need to be longer to allow for different thickness in caps. Otherwise, very satisfied with this rack.
This may very well be a great product when it comes to its functionality, but the installation was fraught with problems. 1). There were two sets of instructions in box, but the materials list only applies to one of the sets of instructions. Thankfully I counted the hardware before I started drilling the holes. Unfortunately, I didn’t count the o-rings. First trip to the hardware store.
2). I finish drilling the holes and place the track onto my truck cap, get into the bed of the truck and start the t-nuts. And half of the t-nuts won’t thread onto the t-bolts. I look closely at the two t-nuts I have left over and notice casting slag literally covering most of the threads. Back to the hardware store for a thread die to clean the threads.
Great racks! I installed them directly onto the roof of my camper shell. The install is pretty easy if you're a decent handy man - I had to drill 16 holes, the hardest part was making sure the tracks were parallel. I put painters tape on the roof of the car and marked lines and holes on the tape. The racks cause a slight whistle while on the freeway but only noticeable because I was listening for it.
Good solid roofrack! I carry a 20 foot long sea kayak on it.Easy to install, works with all accessories from other rack systems. As good or better than Yakima, Thule ect.
I have owned, Yakima and Thule racks.
I was impressed with the Rhino Rack.
The roof tracks mount very solid, the leg latch's work very well, I would recommend this product.
