Today on this 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Crewcab, we're going to show you part number WT84740. This is the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors with dark tinting. Let's go ahead and take a look at what they look like when they're installed on the vehicle. We're looking at the passenger side here. You can see how it fits nice and tight against the body work above the window. It actually fits into a strip located here. It shares the same track as the glass, and it goes all the way up towards the top.
The construction of this is going to be about 3mm thick, and this is a rather dark tint on here. One of the nice things about these vent visors is that if it's raining outside, you can lower the windows down to get some fresh air in still. We'll get a quick measurement. From the very top of the window down to the bottom edge is about 2". This part number does include the front and the back doors of the vehicle. We'll go ahead and take a look at the back door on the passenger side.
Looking at the rear window here, it's the same style construction. It's the same material, same tint. It does fit into the window track just like the front window did. We'll go ahead and check the clearance on that one as well. It's about the same distance, about 2".
You'll notice there's a little reinforcement of plastic here. This is actually designed to set on the outside of the weatherstrip like that, of course a little bit closer in, but it sits on the outside something like that. These are very simple to put in. Basically what I like to do is go ahead and put the back in first and then flex it into the track. Of course, you've got your window down. Then, push it into this corner right her.
Really, that's it, and then, double check to make sure your weatherstrip is still on the outside edge here. Then, you're good to go. Once you're satisfied with the weatherstrip, we'll go ahead and roll the window up and down a few times to make sure it operates correctly, and we'll leave it up for a day or so to make sure it seats into the track with the wind deflector and the window. Now, we'll go ahead and work on our second window on the back of the cab. There's a couple of extra steps to do, but what we need to do is install a clip into the weatherstrip here. This comes with a tool to help pull down the weatherstrip. You take this clip, put it inside, and push it up into the track. This also seems to help by taking a screwdriver and pushing it up into the track as well. You just need a small edge hanging out. You'll be within somewhere around 4" of a corner. The same thing on this side here. Then, we'll go ahead and take our wind deflector and put it into place. What needs to happen is these tabs need to fit on the inside edge getting started and sitting on top kind of working it in. You've got to push in a little bit and pushing down work it into the channel. There it is. The clip actually holds the wind deflector away from the truck where it's caught at the corners on both sides. That gives it a nice tight fit because it's basically working against itself. Then, we can go ahead and roll up our window and leave it up for a day or so. Okay. Not too much to the installation. That will finish it for part number WT84740, the WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Crewcab. .

Let fresh air in while keeping bad weather out. These heavily tinted rain guards keep your interior dry, reduce wind noise, and help to keep temperatures down by promoting better air circulation in your vehicle.Very satisfied and pleased with my purchase experience from etrailer and the weather-tech side door window guards.
Glad I finally converted to weather tech. Installation was simple and no need of vht tapes.
Fitment is perfect, real clean low profile look , as if they belong there.
Highly recommend etrailer and the quality products they offer and professional experience . Top notch customer communication!
Looking forward to working with them for future purchases..
I would not recommend. First the wrong rear deflectors were in my box, etrailer took care of that for me. Then after I got the correct parts, I broke the first rear one trying to put it in. Unsure what I’m going to do now. Don’t ignore the reviews saying they break easy like I did.
Very brittle. Broke one installing it. WeatherTech was good about replacing it. The back ones won’t stay on. Ended up loosing one. Finally just took them off.
Received what I order and when expected. Will buy from etrailer again
I'm really happy with what I ordered with the Stone and Bug deflector, easy to install and the side window deflectors super easy to install, happy with everything thank you.

Look beauty and Excellent After a year, WeatherTech Side Window Rain Guards with Dark Tinting - Front on my Sprinter 2007
First bad experience with a WeatherTech product. Do not recommend for 2010-2014 Ford Expedition or similar models. I see 4 flaws.
3 of 4 pieces cracked at the corner even when I tried to be as gentle as possible in incrementally raising windows once installed. It seems to be just a few millimeters too oversized.
Second, Rear windows will not raise all the way back in place due to thickness of plastic, it stops. You have to push windshield up while holding the switch.
I was worried that this force would damage the window tint due to excess friction and it may push the rubber out to the point it would be damaged if I took them off months or years later.
Third, and arguably the most important. Too much wind noise. The Ford Expedition is very quiet for an SUV. I tried these for close to a week and I had to take them off. It sounded like gusty wind noise even when there was no wind other then the vehicle going through the air. I removed them and the SUV was quiet again.
Four, It isn't optically correct. Hard to see in the photo, but when looking at the area between the A pillar and side mirror, it's wavy and distracting. Also makes the A pillar appear much larger when it's darker outside due to the tint.
So even though they look nice, and you can crack your windows in the rain if your car is sitting still or you never exceed 50 mph... I wasn't able to get comfortable with the above issues. I can't return them since I installed them and tried them. But hopefully someone else can benefit from this.
It’s still early. I did the upgrade while in a walking boot (cannot drive) due to an Achilles rupture. So I can only comment on the install, which was much easier on the back windows. The front windows were a little awkward but eventually went in. I don’t like the ‘clunk’ as the window closes in the last inch or so. The window comes in contact with the deflector and clunks. I hope the plastic heats / cools and reforms as it sits over the next few days. Otherwise I like the look and finish, it’s just the fit which I’m not completely convinced off yet.
These weather tech side window rain guards are really well made. Front ones installed easily and allow us to crack open the windows even in the rain. I could not for the life of me install the rear ones, or I would have given them 5 stars.
Passenger side doesn’t fit
Rain gaurd is to long at top, won’t stay in window track
paid the little extra to go with these well made and excellent fitting window vents as other "stick ons" just dont last. I bought from etrailer as they track shipping and assure delivery.
very pleased!
highly recommend WeathTech & etrailer
I didn't know how much I would love these rain guards until I finally bought and installed them. Install is easy. etrailer shipping quickly. It's been a year and they have held up to the sun and rain, and look brand new still. They work GREAT. Highly recommend!
The enclosed fasteners are crap! They are too short and don't expand enough. After an hour of not getting 1 point attached, I gave up. I'll have to get my own fasteners and tough it out. If I ever get it installed it may be fine. I'll need to calm down and get some more motivation before trying to install the rain guards. Very disappointed!
