Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at this RV stove vent bug screen. Now, this bug screen is going to help stop the invasion of unwanted insects, pests, and debris in your RV stove vent. Now, this is designed to fit most Atwood, Magic Chef, Suburban, and Wedgewood RV stove vents. And this wire mesh is going to permit that proper airflow, and while also preventing wasps, mud daubers, and birds from building nests that may interfere with your vent's airflow. The heavy duty stainless steel construction is going to do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion. This feels very durable.
I think it's gonna be very long-lasting. And this is going to be relatively easy to install. On your screen, I am including the installation instructions so you can get an idea of what the installation's going to look like. You are going to want to locate the anchor points on your exterior appliance vent and then place this screen over the appliance vent and mark the location of the anchor points on the screen with something like a felt tip pen. And then, attach the spring's shorter end to the marked anchor points on the inside surface of the screen.
And then, place the screen with the attached springs over the appliance vent. Holding the rounded end of the included installation pin, insert the pin through the screen and the center of the attached spring to insert the pin notch onto the center bar of the spring coil. And then, you're just going to push that spring hook past the appliance anchor point and then, turn the installation pin to hook the spring onto the anchor point, and release slowly. And that's basically all there is to installing this. Now, let me go ahead and retrieve my ruler here and just to go over some overall dimensions here for you.
So lining up my ruler, we're sitting pretty close to right at about 10-and-a-half inches wide, a little over that, almost 11 inches wide depending on where you're measuring from. And then the overall height, we're sitting right at about four-and-a-half inches tall if you have it installed this way. So you are going to get one bug screen, along with that installation tool that I mentioned a few minutes ago, and then these springs. And you wanna be sure to inspect these screens monthly and clean whenever necessary, just to make sure that you're maintaining that proper airflow. Well, that's gonna do it for our look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
