Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Trimax Trailer Hitch Pin with flip tip for two inch hitches. This durable hitch pin can be used to secure your ball mount or hitch mounted accessories to your two inch hitch receiver. And you're not going to have to worry about potentially losing your clip. The built in flip tip is going to snap into place to secure the hitch pin in place.
And this is really simple to use. You just simply squeeze this tip here and push it downward and then rotate it forward and that will give you the ability to slide this through the hitch pin hole all the way through the receiver and through your accessory. And then when you get that through you can just rotate that back down and then push up and it will, as you heard click into place letting you know that it is secure. Now, I do have an example of a two inch hitch right here just to give you a brief demonstration of how this will work. So again, you just squeeze the tip, push this downward, rotate that out, and then I'm just gonna slide this through our two inch receiver, and then rotate that down, push it back up and it clicks into place and you are secure.
So again, very simple to use. You're not gonna have to worry about losing clips. It's all, it's gonna be all in one piece. And so that's very convenient and something that is going to just be very easy to use. Now, the hardened steel construction with this triple plated chrome finish is indeed corrosion resistant and the pin diameter is five eighths of an inch, and this does have a limited lifetime warranty.
And again, this is going to be for two inch trailer hitch receivers but Trimax also carries one for the one in a quarter inch hitch as well. Stainless steel construction is rustproof.Wish I would have bought one of these sooner. A friend told me about these and showed me the one he has. Great design, we'll see how long the spring part lasts, hopefully as long a I need it to.
Great Customer service I received my product however parts were missing. I contacted them after hours to inform them. And I received Email inquiring what was missing. The very next day I received another e-mail and thy are sending Me the missing parts. mind you this was over a weekend. Great Customer Service.
Ended up not even using this, it felt flimsy and couldn't accept any lock I had on hand.
Product was exactly what I was looking for. E trailer shipping response was exceptional.

Ive been using this offon for a year now. A little lubrication at the springlocking mechanism, keeps it working like new. I would definitely recommend this for quick and easy hitch removals
