Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Torklift 7-way camper and trailer socket, 3-way pigtail wiring extension for the 42 inch or 48 inch long SuperTruss Extensions. Now this kit will make it easy to connect your wiring on your truck bed camper and your trailer to your vehicle. This 3-way, no-splice, truck-to-camper wire harness is designed to plug into your existing rear 7-way RV plug on your truck, and then it leaves these two open connectors. One is a 10 foot extension that'll run up to your truck camper, and one is a six foot extension for towing your trailer. What's nice about this is if you happen to not be towing a trailer, instead of having the wiring still there, this one actually has a plug. You can actually unplug it, store this away, and then you don't have to worry about having that extra wiring, having to hang it up somewhere so it doesn't get in the way.Now this is designed for use with the 42 inch long or 48 inch long Torklift SuperTruss Extensions or you could use it with other extensions. What's nice with the Torklift SuperTruss Extensions, it will include the mounting bracket for the 7-way connector here for your trailer. This does install quickly and easily, there's no splicing required.
Basically this portion right here is what'll plug into the wiring harness on your existing 7-way connector, and then run the 7-way socket back to clear your bed mounted camper so that you can connect your trailer's wiring. So this one will run right back there. And again, if you have a Torklift SuperTruss Extension and mounting brackets on there, you can mount this to that. And then you route this other 7-way way socket toward the cab of your truck to connect the camper wiring. Now this harness is made in the USA, but that should do it for the review on this Torklift 7-way camper and trailer socket, 3-way pigtail wiring extension, or the 42 inch or 48 inch long SuperTruss Extensions.

Which plug connector do you have on your trailer? I am happy to recommend an adapter or new plug for you.
