Get the safest and most comfortable ride while hauling your camper with tie-downs that mount on the frame of your pickup. Great for your truck's looks: remove the arms from the brackets and you'll hardly know that the brackets are there.
Features:
If you're looking for the best tie-downs for your camper, frame-mounted is the way to go. The frame is the most solid part of your entire vehicle, so it just makes sense to attach your camper to something that's not going to warp, bend, or twist. Even more importantly, the camper's center of gravity will sit lower and its weight will be spread across the entire bed. This avoids a top-heavy load perched on top of your bed rails that's liable to sway and get pushed around by crosswinds. The camper's not going to shift or slide around while you drive; it's going to stay put, and your truck is going to handle just like it does without a camper.
Quick Tip: If you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it's important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing.
Frame-mounted tie-downs are also a great pick for preserving your truck's good looks. The brackets install on the frame, tucked nearly flush with the underside of the vehicle. Remove the arms from the brackets when you're not hauling your camper, and the brackets will be barely visible.
Completely custom to your vehicle, the tie-downs attach to exisiting holes in your frame so that there's little to no drilling and no need for any modifications. Because they're custom, you'll want to use our in-house application guide to make sure you get the exact right model. The tie-downs you need might be different depending on what type of hitch or other accessories you have.
Once the tie-downs are installed, use a set of turnbuckles (sold separately) to secure the camper to the tie-downs. The shank on each arm has 2 pin holes so you can choose how far out they extend, that way the turnbuckles can reach the anchors on your camper without making contact with your truck. Tighten the turnbuckles to the correct level of tension (not too tight!).
Make sure the anchor points are offset from the tie-downs instead of lined up with them so that they will hold your camper from multiple angles. This is important for keeping your camper from shifting. Two holes in the attachment plate of the tie-downs let you find the best angle for you camper anchors.

These with a set of fastguns and you're all set.
I really like the way the truck and camper ride, very stable. The ability to remove the extensions when the camper is off is really a nice feature too.
Install was a little complicated. Removing parking brake cable was a pain.
(this is, verbatim, the same review I gave for the front set of tie-downs)
I wasn't planning on purchasing a new set of Tie-Downs, but having my truck totaled by a careless driver, changed that plan.
Bought the front and rears to install on my new 2021 Ram 2500. Installation was a snap, literally under an hour for the set of four. Using them to secure my Lance 650, they have worked as excellently as the previous set did (may they rest in peace).
as usual, etrailer's sales and service were top shelf.
This frame mounted camper tiedown was well made and as advertised required no welding. As I recall there were errors in the torquing requirements some of which were beyond what I could do by hand even with an extension on the wrench. The big advantage of this system is that you can take off the extension that actually connects to the tie down, so nothing is sticking out from the truck when the camper is off.
2021 RAM 2500. Super easy install.
Awesome product. Easy install. Excellent instructions
Shipped fast, well ahead of expected date.
The manufacturers written installation instructions were appalling and the few videos I found online from them were less than not helpful. (I work for a manufacturer myself and was shocked at this).
Were it not for etrailers videos I could not have figured installation out. I say figure it out because understandably I didn’t find model specific videos but enough information to see how they should install.
So, TorkLift gets 5 product stars/-10 installation instruction stars and etrailer gets 5+ stars all around!
I installed these on a 2019 Ram 2500 Laramie with a 6.7L Cummins, 6.5 foot bed length, running boards on the cab, and a factory hitch. I'm not a gear head (auto mechanic) and the install was pretty straight forward and not complicated. Great product and the delivery was quick. Hope this helps others in determining fitment for purchasing.
Easy installation and a very solid mount. Finish looks to be holding up well. Had HappiJac on my last truck, and that worked fine, but this is superior in most respects and requires no drilling.
The instructions were clear and easy to follow. They fit just as described and took 2 hours to install. No holes put Quick shipping to. in pickup and easy to tie camper down. Like that they don't stick out past box when not in use.
Fit perfect on my 2019 Ram 2500
Sturdy and easy to install. Very pleased with the product and performance.
Strong and easy to install. Great purch ase.
I haven’t installed it yet, but product appears very high quality. Also they have excellent customer service and have dealt with a couple of shipping issues I had in a very timely manner…
Our order arrived 2 weeks before we expected, just in time for our first trip with our truck camper. The installation was smooth and everything feels great!
These are great! I have the rear step so I modified the left side solid as a rock! Still have my step.
Good tie downs, functioning well with no problems.
Awesome product, great fit up. Good hardware, heavy-duty brackets. Thick nice powder coating. Worth every penny.
This has got to be one of the most straight forward installs I have ever done . Rears only took 20 minutes to install, and the fronts 40 minutes due to the emergency break cable. If you stop and read the instructions, they provide a clear picture on how to complete the setup. Very stout and worth it.
Easy installation. Works great.
Very clear install instructions. Great fit-up! Super easy install!
They have worked out very well completely satisfied
