Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this 13 foot long LED light strip for the Thule RV awnings. Now this LED light strip will attach to awnings to provide nice sideways light. It does come with the high quality 3M tape on the back of the strip, to stick to most standard surfaces. And it gives off a nice warm white light with a light starkness up to 300 lumens. Now, at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to some 12-volt power to show you how bright it is.
This is compatible with the Thule mounting rail, part number TH301644, we do sell separately on our website. And this can be used both when the awning is either opened or closed. It can also be used inside your vehicle to create more light.It is IP65 rated for water resistance, has 60 to 70 power LEDs per meter on the strip. Working voltage is 12 volts DC. And if you do want to cut this to shorten it, to fit the right length for you, you can do that.
You just have to make sure. Every two inches, there's an opening to where you can cut that. You don't want to cut it anywhere. You got every two inches to where you can cut it to whatever length you need. And if you notice, on the end here, it has this three foot long connection cable.
And the strip itself is a nice anthracite color to match the awning cassette.So, what I'm going to do now is look this up to some 12-volt power, show you how bright it is. Hook up our power and then hook up our ground. And once we got them both hooked up, I'll go ahead and turn on the 12-volt power. And you can see with the 12-volt power on, there's your strip all lit up. And you can see when you unravel it, you got a nice strip.
I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead light. And with the overhead lights off, you can see the strip. Very nice, strong, bright light it gives off. I'm going to turn back on our overhead lights, turn off our power. But, that should do it for the review on this 13 foot long LED light strip for the Thule RV awnings.

Fit my 2018 KZ Sportsmen perfectly.
Still working 1 year later.
Not too bright like most of the others.
I hate bright lights at campgrounds, so this is perfect. Enough light to see at my site without annoying others.

Still working. Was easy to install. No too bright like some of the others campers are using now. Jut the perfect amount to light under my awning and not the entire campground.
