Specs:
Note: Do not use for overhead lifting. This load binder is designed to work as part of a complete tie-down system. The overall capacity depends on the safe working load limit (WLL) of the chain(s) that you choose, as well as the capacity of the load binder itself. The item being tied down must not exceed the combined WLL of the lowest-rated components in the system.

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the Titan Chain Lever type load binder for 5/16 of an inch to 3/8 inch thick chain. This has a safe working load limit of 5,400 pounds. This is going to be a quick and easy way to tighten down the chains on your load. Basically, if you open it up, because you can see those chains are going to spread out further, so you can hook them together. Bring the lever together, and that'll cinch down your chain. This is gonna be perfect for agricultural as well as industrial tie down applications. The nice thing about the lever mechanism with this is that it has fewer moving parts that are ratchet binder, and therefore it's going to require less maintenance to keep it working for a long time. It is made of a durable steel construction.
And it has this nice powder coat finish over all of the surfaces here. So it's going to resist rust and corrosion, and you don't have to worry about it looking nasty after only a few days. This is going to meet all of the Department of Transportation regulations. Again, this is going to work with chains that are 5/16 of an inch to 3/8 inch thick links, and it has that safe working load limit of 5,400 pounds or 5,400 pounds. The handle length is going to be 12 inches. So as you can see there, it's going to be 12 inches in total, going from the very end to right about there on the handle. This is going to have a minimum reach of 18 and three quarters of an inch.
Now one other thing to keep in mind with this load binder is that this is not intended to be used for overhead lifting. This load binder is designed to work as part of a complete tie down system, and the overall capacity depends on the safe working load limit of the chains that you choose, as well as the capacity of the load binder itself. The item being tied down must not exceed the combined working load limit of the lowest rated component in the system. So you're only as strong as your weakest link basically is what that means. So that's going to do it for our look at the Titan Chain Lever type load binder for 5/16 of an inch to 3/8 inch thick chain.
