Timbren Vehicle Suspension - TABSOSR

  • Bump Stops
  • Rear Axle Suspension Enhancement
  • Timbren
  • Light Duty

Timbren's Active Off-Road Bumpstops provide off-road enthusiasts with greater control over their vehicle's suspension travel. Using progressive-rate springs means that instead of a hard stop at the end of axle travel, the axle energy will be absorbed when bottoming out, producing smooth, predictable, and quiet axle engagement and disengagement. The progressive rubber springs absorb the harsh jolt at the end of axle travel, giving you a gentle ride the whole time.

Unlike your factory bumpstops, Timbren's bumpstops are constructed of a superior natural rubber compound, ensuring the bumpstops will continue to operate even after a lifetime of off-road abuse. And the steel brackets and disks are lazer cut before they are painted with a durable, long-lasting powder coat finish to ensure protection and long life.

Features:

  • Designed to maximize axle travel
  • Smooth axle engagement and disengagement
  • Enhances rear suspension performance
  • Progressive spring rate
  • Absorbs energy and cushions road shocks
  • Constructed of a natural rubber compound
  • Stronger than OEM bumpstops
  • Easy installation - hardware included
  • Capacity: 3,600 lbs
  • Lifetime warranty
  • Satisfaction guarantee

  • Recommended Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement For A 2019 Toyota Tacoma With 4WD
Suspension enhancement systems like Timbren springs are perfect for the scenaro you're describing. These solutions supplement your factory suspension but don't necessarily increase your capacity. Timbrens are hollow rubber springs that sit above the rear axle to help stabilize and level your Toyota Tacoma. Below are what I recommend of the available spring choices. For off road applications, I recommend the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSOSR for vehicles if the axles are...

  • Replacement Bump Stops for a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado LT with Rough Country 6 Inch Lift Kit
For starters, if you are going to be using your 2016 Chevrolet Colorado LT for towing then the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System would be correct but if you going to be using your 2016 Chevrolet Colorado LT for off roading then I recommend using the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops. The Off-Road system has a softer spring which you will want for hard impacts whereas the SES system has a harder spring that will be better for constant loads. I called Rough Country and the said that...

  • What are the Dimensions of the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops for Toyota Tacoma?
The Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops - Rear Suspension - 3,600 lbs # TABSTRFK have bump stops and mounts that are 5-1/2 inches tall overall and u-bolts that are 8-1/4 inches long and 3-3/4 inches on center. I've attached a photo to assist. These jounce springs will mitigate sag when towing and they will work great for your off-road towing.

  • How Much Space Should There Be with Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops On 2007 Toyota Tacoma
The Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops part # TABSOSR which are a fit for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma are designed so that there is more space between the spring and frame to allow the suspension to articulate freely when off-road. If you're looking for a spring which is closer and provides support sooner you would instead want to go with the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TTORTUN4 which is designed to sit around 1/2" to 1-1/2" from the frame. If the truck has been lifted you...

  • Will Timbren Kit for 2013 Toyota Tacoma Fill with Water
Due to the design of the Timbren kit part # TABSOSR it would potentially fill with water if they were submerged. This eventually could lead to rusting out the base and even one guy remarked that when filled with water there is a "fart sound" when hitting bumps. The second part could be a pro or a con depending on how refined your sense of humor is. So instead of going that route I would recommend the SumoSprings Solo part # SSR-610-40 which does not have that void and is known for providing...

  • Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement For a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner
We do have the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORTUN4 for your 2005 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner 2wd. This kit has a rated capacity of 6,000lbs to reduce sag and improve stability. We also have the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSOSR rated for a capacity of 3,600lbs. These will provide you with more suspension travel than the kit above. So while you will see more sag out of this kit when you load your Tacoma, you will have a smoother ride when unloaded.

  • Will SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs Fit Nissan Frontier with 6 Lift
The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS98DR, which fit a 2014 - 2021 Nissan Frontier, will fit as long as the lift is a body lift and it doesn't actually lift the frame of your vehicle. If it does lift the frame then I recommend picking up the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSOSR which will be a bit more rigid but you'll be able to add spacers like the 1" Spacer # A25723-90AH00 to help take up that extra space. You'll just have to measure the available space and choose...

It sounds like you're looking for the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops part # TABSOSR which are a fit for a 2020 Nissan Frontier. These are great for towing or hauling and will work to reduce sag/squat without minimizing axle travel.

  • Rear Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2018 Toyota Tundra
For your 2018 Toyota Tundra the suspension enhancement I recommend is the Timbren kit part # TABSOSR because this kit installs easily, gives you the suspension support you need to greatly reduce the sag, and because it doesn't require monitoring air pressure or running air lines like the air bag kits do so it's very low maintenance. I attached a link to an install video for this kit for you to check out as well.

  • Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2008 Toyota Tundra
We have suspension enhancement that fits your 2008 Toyota Tundra that will help you tow within the capacities of your truck, but nothing we offer will give you higher capacities than what you already have. Our suspension enhancement kits like the Timbren part # TABSOSR which fit your Tundra will help reduce sag when towing a heavy trailer but you have to make sure the weight of the trailer is less than the towing capacity for the truck. It's not just the suspension and engine power that...

  • Rear Suspension Enhancement for 2021 Chevy Colorado 4x4
For your 2021 Chevy Colorado 4x4 we have the Timbren rear suspension kit part # TABSOSR as a confirmed fit that would do an excellent job reducing the sag you are experiencing. SumoSprings does not have a kit for your truck at this time but the Timbrens are essentially the same design as it's a jounce type bumper designed to replace the bump stop.

  • Rear Helper Springs/Suspension Enhancement for a 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Diesel
For your 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Diesel I recommend RoadActive Suspension # RAS4617. This system will provide extra support when towing and/or carrying loads in the truck bed as well as help with overall stability all without affecting the unloaded ride quality of the truck. The kit comes assembled and ready to install so you will have more time for your adventures!

  • Total Height of Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops for a 2011 Nissan Frontier
The total height of the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops part # TABSOSR which are a fit for a 2011 Nissan Frontier is 4-5/8". If you want to add spacers you'll use the Timbren Spacer part # TA25722-90P00 and or part # A25723-90AH00. In regards to fitment, you can add spacers so there is no space between the contact point and bumper but this would not lift the truck and it could also result in a stiff ride.

To add a 1" spacer # A25723-90AH00 to the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSOSR you were looking at for your 2014 Toyota Tundra you will need to purchase two grade 5 or 8 3/8" x 2-1/2" F/T UNC bolts from your local hardware store. • Comparing Timbren Rear Helper Springs for a 2016 Toyota Tacoma 4x4
The springs in both Timbren kits for a 2016 Toyota Tacoma 4x4, # TABSOSR, and # TTORTUN4L, are both 3-3/4 inches tall. The difference is that kit # TABSOSR is intended for vehicles without a U-Bolt Flip Kit. And # TTORTUN4L is designed for vehicles with 3 Leaf Springs in the rear suspension. To avoid a stiff ride a better option would be air bags, # F2407. They will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the bags for the best ride quality. • Recommended Bump Stop Suspension Enhancement for a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado
Really the only difference between the Timbren part # TABSGMFCC and part # TABSOSR for your 2017 Chevrolet Colorado is that the former is rated for up to 1,000 lbs while the latter is rated for up to 3,600 lbs. Out of these options I would go with the set that has a higher rating. Since you do off-road driving you will want to use the off-road bumpstops referenced above. • Comparing Timbren Suspension Enhancement for 2018 Toyota Tacoma
There are six different Timbren kits for suspension enhancement that all fit your 2018 Toyota Tacoma. Four are for the rear and two are for the front. Of the front two, part # TTOFTUN4 is designed for adding support when you put a snow plow on the truck and # TABSTOF is an active bump stop that cushions the shock when off-roading. A couple of the rear kits are designed to support the rear of the truck when either towing a trailer or adding weight in the bed. Use part # TTORTUN4 if your...

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORTUN4 is a great SES that fits your 2018 Toyota Tundra. The Timbren line of SES is really popular and there are several models available. The # TTORTUN4 features heavy duty rubber springs with a 6,000 lb weight capacity. The Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSOSR features a lighter duty rubber spring with a 3,600 lb weight capacity. • Timbrens or Firestone Air Bags for 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Towing a Trailer
I highly recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2445 for your 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD over the Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSOSR because the Firestone air bags are going to be a greater help to your Tundra when you're towing. In regards to the suspension travel you asked about, the Firestone air bags only need to be inflated to a minimum 5 psi so when you aren't towing it will essentially be like you don't have them on. The Timbrens are going to be much more...

  • Comparing Timbren Kits for 2022 Toyota Tacoma
There is an interesting amount of Timbren kits that fit your 2022 Toyota Tacoma long bed. The part # TABSTRFK is a standard duty kit that comes with a U-bolt flip kit helps with ground clearance. # T72FR is a severe service kit for 3 leaf springs which means it's going to be really harsh, # T62FR is same thing but for 4 leaf spring packs. # TABSOSR is a standard duty kit which means it'll give best blend of support and ride quality. This would be what I would recommend.

  • Recommended Timbren Suspension Enhancement for a 2022 Nissan Frontier
Unfortunately Timbren does not make their Timbren Active Off-Road Bumpstops # TABSOSR kit without the axle bracket, so if you don't need it you'll just ignore it and install everything else. To figure out if you need a spacer kit #T68MR you're going to need to measure between the frame of your trunk when empty to the rear leaf spring. If you measure anything between 6" to 7 1/2", then you're going to need a spacer.

  • Timbren Suspension Enhancement that Fits 2013 Toyota Tundra
For your 2013 Toyota Tundra that is towing a 6,500 lb travel trailer I'd go with the Timbren kit part # TABSOSR to help support the rear of it and reduce sag as this will give you up to an additional 3,600 lbs of support if needed. Other kits provide even more support but they would provide a harsher ride quality. With that said, I think your best option would be the RoadActive Suspension kit part # RAS34FR which provides adjustable support, is easy to install, and also provides the best...

  • SumoSprings or Timbren Springs For a 2016 Toyota Tundra For Hauling Occasional Loads
I recommend using the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-47 on our 2016 Toyota Tundra. As you will only be hauling the additional weight a few times a year for a short distance this will provide you with the best ride quality when you are using your truck as a daily driver. The Timbren Springs # TABSOSR will create a stiffer ride both while hauling additional loads and while daily driving. I only recommend these types of springs for vehicles who will see additional weight...
