Today we're going to take a look at the Valterra RV sewer termination adapter. Now, this part is a black hard plastic construction, has a 3" bayonet fitting on this end and a 3" hub fitting on this end. Now, the 3" hub fitting, that's a female spigot end, it's for gluing ton the pipe, the 3" bayonet end is for connecting your sewer hose or your cap to. Now, the bayonet end, let me give you a few measurements on this. This is going to measure internal diameter of 3". The female end, of the spigot end, inside diameter is 3-1/2".
And the total length on this adapter is 2-1/2". But that should do it for the review on the the Valterra RV sewer termination adapter.

We are using a tote tank as a main black water storage/tote tank on a non-travelling Tiny House. Thus, I had to do a somewhat unconventional hook up. Never having dealt with the RV side of plumbing I was concern I might order incorrect parts.

I had to shorten my drain pipe that connects to the hose where I empty my tanks. They pipe would drag on the ground when parking the camper in my driveway. So, I had to cut off about 6” of the pipe, including the connector the the hose attaches to. I ordered the T1029-2 to replace the one I cut off. It arrived a few days earlier than stated. I was really impressed about that. Glued the the part on , with the proper plumbers glue for that type of pipe material. Works like a charm as if it was from the factory build of camper.

Hey! This is a great product for those who want to convert there old Thetford sewer set up to the new stuff that is common these days. Our Foretravel motorhome has the old Therford style stuff so I cut the old Thetford adapter off and glued this adapter on using the ABS cement (glue). This old style stuff used ABS plastic pipe and I have been told the Foretravel, AirStream, and Holiday Rambler used this on some of their RVs.
Bottom line, this is a great product for those wanting to convert the old Thetford sewer discharge pipe to the new stuff that is readily available for their RV. Easy to install....

Finally upgraded the plumbing on our 5th wheel. Got rid of the flexible and changed up to 3" schedule 40 black pipe. These fittings worked perfectly. Thanks etrailer.
