Sonically Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

  • Replacement For Optronics STL69RC Light
Hello Leo, I checked with Optronics and there is no record of a STL69RC1PG light. What we do offer that you may have been referring to is the Thinline LED Trailer Tail Light # STL69RCB. This is a 15" Long x 1-3/8" tall tail light with stop, turn, and tail light functions, so if that's the type of light you're needing to replace, it will work out for you.

  • Replacement Strip LED Light for 2014 Gulf Stream Vista RV to Replace Slimline 250-4550-1
I pulled up pictures of your 250-4550-1 strip taillight and while we don't have an exact replacement we have a pretty close replacement. The part # STL69RCB is the same dimensions and has LEDs just like what you have. It is 15 inches long and 1-1/2 inches wide. The mounting holes are 14-1/8 inches apart on center. I attached a review video for the light for you to check out as well.

  • Installation of the Sealed, Thin Line, Over 80" LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light, Part # STL69RCB
This particular lamp is meant to be used in pairs, one on each side of the rear of the trailer. The red wire on the drivers side lamp is meant to connect to the yellow wire from the trailer connector, and on the passenger side lamp the red wire connects to the green wire from the trailer connector. The black wire on each would connect to the brown wire from the trailer connector and the white wire on each lamp would be grounded to the trailer. A chrome bezel, part # A69CB is also offered.

  • Is the Thinline LED Trailer Tail Light a Single Light
The Thinline LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - Submersible - 11 Diodes - Clear Lens # STL69RCB is a single light. If you needed two of these lights you would have to order a quantity of two.

  • Can 12 Volt LED Lights be Used in a 6 Volt System
The extent of my knowledge about running LED lights at 6 volts rather than 12 volts is that the light will draw less amperage and subsequently put out less light than when the light is ran at 12 volts. For LED lights the difference in light output may not be as dramatic as it is with incandescent bulbs, but it will not work as well. I contacted the manufacturer of this light to see if running the light on a 6 volt system would damage the light or reduce life expectancy. He stated that...

  • Is Optronics Trailer Clearance Light # STL69RCB Sold in Pairs or Individually
The Sealed, Thin Line, Over 80" LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light, 3-Function, 11 Diode # STL69RCB that you referenced is a single light. If you needed a pair of these you'd have to order a quantity of two of these.

  • Tow Bar Lighting Recommendation for 2004 Chevy Trailblazer
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV. We have confirmed this as a fit on your 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. I am sure there is a way to use the...

  • How to Determine How Many LED Taillights Can Be Installed on Trailer Wiring
You should be just fine, LED lights draw a very small amount of amperage. For example, the # STL69RCB that you referenced only draws .270 amps for the brighter illumination and for the dimmer illumination .025 amps. I attached a link to a page that has all of the LED trailer taillights we offer. The amperage draw of each light is listed on the product pages. You will want to count up all of the amps that are drawn for each assembly and compare that to the amp capacities of each circuit...

  • How to Make a Tail Light Kit for the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18100
I may have a few parts that you can piece together to install tail lights on the Curt Cargo Carrier, # C18100, but Curt does not offer a tail light kit that will fit this carrier. If you are interested in the slim LED lights, you could install two of the Optronics Sealed LED Thin Line Lights, # STL69RCB, on each side of the carrier. You could route the wires through the existing hole and would only have to drill the holes for the mounting screws. Once you have the lights mounted, you...

  • Recommended Loading Light for an Enclosed Trailer
Junior, for your enclosed trailer you can use something like the Thinline LED Trailer Tail Light # STL69RCB. This light strip measures 15" Long x 1-3/8" tall x 5/8" deep, is 14 1/8" center to center for the mounting holes and is sonically sealed so it's waterproof. If you're looking for something else, feel free to let me know and I'll see what we have.

  • Can The Sealed, Thin Line Tail Light # STL69RCB be Mounted Horizontally or Vertically
The Sealed, Thin Line tail light # STL69RCB does not require a specific orientation. Some lights do and the ones that have this requirement will say either horizontal or vertical in both the part titles and the descriptions. With that said you will still need to mount the light so that it is facing rearward and not up or down at an angle. They are easier to see if mounted horizontally so that is what I recommend. We also have a nice chrome base for this light, # A69CB.
