What Wiring Do I Need?

Optronics Glow light back view with plug

This GloLight comes pre-wired with a standard 3-prong plug. It plugs right into the male plug already installed on your trailer. If you don't already have one, pick up a right-angle pigtail (A47PB - sold separately) or a straight pigtail (A45PB - sold separately).

  • GloLight LED Tail Light Compatibility with 2018 Coachmen Clipper ST108
The GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - Submersible - 22 Diodes - Oval - Red Lens # STL178RFPB is most likely a fit for your 2018 Coachmen Clipper ST108. The best way to confirm fit is to check the mounting hole locations. The mounting holes are 7 inches on center and 2-11/16 inches on center. I've attached a photo to assist. Then you can use the Snap-on Reflector Ring for STL78RB Series LED Lights - Red # A78RXB or the chrome ring # A78CB.

  • Recommended Optronics Tail Light With 3-Prong Plug Attached
I do have options for you. We have the Optronics # STL78RPG, which is essentially the Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light # STL78RB with a 3 prong attached. We also have the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RFPB. This light is identical in size to the light you mentioned, and will come with the 3 prong plug attached. The only difference is that the # STL178RFPB is a 22 diode instead of a 10 diode, so it will be a brighter light.

  • Determining Which Taillights Fit Skeeter Boat Trailer
The GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - Submersible - 22 Diodes - Oval - Red Lens # STL178RFPB you were looking at is a flush mounted light that bolts directly to your trailer, and only requires a hole for the wiring to pass through. This light is 7-1/2" wide and 3-5/16" tall with horizontal bolt holes 7" apart, and the upper and lower bolt holes are 2-11/16" apart. If this matches the lights you currently have on your Skeeter Boat trailer this would be a great replacement...

  • Which Wiring Harness Will Be Needed to Install the Optronics GloLight LED Trailer Light STL178RFPB
The proper hardwire wiring harness for the # STL178RFPB GloLight LED trailer tail light is the # A47PB. A great and similar style side marker/clearance and turn light is the # STL78AB, this will already have the proper wires to install on your trailer. If you prefer it to be a GloLight like your tail lights we do have one from Optronics # STL111AB. The wiring harness you will need to install the GloLight # STL111AB to your trailer is part number # A47PB. Since the GloLight LED doesn't...

  • Will Snap-on Reflector Ring # A78RXB Fit Optronics GLOLight LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light # STL178RFPB
Although the Snap-on Reflector Ring, # A78RXB, will not fit the STL178 series lights like the Optronics GLOLight LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light # STL178RFPB, I do have a solution for you. Take a look at the Sealed, 6-1/2" Oval LED Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, # STL78RB. This light was designed to be used with the reflector ring. I spoke with my contact at Optronics and they do not offer a reflector ring for the STL178 series lights.

  • LED Lights for 1991 Ranger Boat Trailer
We can get you all the lights you need though it will come in the form of different parts because there isn't a specific "kit" containing everything. For the stop/turn/tail lights you can use the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RFPB; this is a surface mounted light that is 7-1/2" wide x 3-5/16" tall x 1-1/8" deep and has an industry-standard 3-prong plug to connect to your trailer. Then for your clearance lights you can use # MCL-91AK, which is amber and measures 2-1/2" x 1-3/16"...

  • Troubleshooting Rear Running Lights on Re-Wired Utility Trailer
In standard trailer wiring all clearance lights and running lights operate from the same circuit. This means that if some of the lights are working but a few do not, then those non-functioning lights may have a ground issue or other wiring problem isolated just to them. Different lights can use different ways of grounding. For example, if your side clearance lights that do work use a wired ground, but the rear lights use the light mounting studs or posts to make the ground then it is possible...

  • Parts Needed to Add Light Kit to Bike Rack
You could use the LED kit part # 98174LED to add the lights and wiring to your bike rack and then use the bracket # BK70BB and you'd be set. You'd have to attach the brackets to the bike rack and then once installed the lighting harness would run to the trailer wiring of your vehicle that you have.

  • Parts Needed to Install GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RFPB to Trailer Wiring
Best option would be to connect the # A47PB to the wiring you have on your trailer currently so that you can easily plug in the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light # STL178RFPB. For butt connectors you'd then want the part # DW05714. This is a really solid choice for a light and would work well for your 2018 Grand Design Solitude.

  • Replacement Light for Optronics ST70RBTK Trailer Tail Light with Mounting Bracket
For a replacement light that is the same size as your ST70RBTK I have two options. One is the Optronics Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Turn, Tail - Submersible - Incandescent - Oval - Red Lens # ST70RB and the other is the Optronics LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn - Submersible - 48 Diodes - Oval - Red Lens # STL70RB. • Tips For Removing Old Tail Lights Installed With Rubber Grommets
Hello Barb. Generally with that kind of light you can pry off the grommet and light with a screwdriver or plastic pry tool. A lot of times if you have access to the light from the back side they can be a lot easier to remove. Removing the grommet may reveal some mounting screws depending on what kind of light that is.
