Note: It is recommended that you remove this roof rack from your vehicle when it is not in use.

This semi-custom SportRack roof rack easily installs on your vehicle's bare roof so you can carry extra cargo to your next destination. Adjustable, rotating footpads combine with an easy-to-use numbering system to make the rack conform to your roof for a good fit.

A unique numbering system is inscribed on the crossbars to aid in installation. This system corresponds to numbers noted in the easy-to-read application guide. First, find the number indicated for your car, and then slide the roof-rack feet along the crossbars until they line up with the appropriate number for your application. Tighten the feet in place with the included Allen wrench.

Refer to the application guide to find specific measurements that allow you to properly position the rack on your roof. To begin installing the roof rack on your vehicle, open the passenger's- and driver's-side doors. Place the front crossbar first, and make sure that the screws that hold the clamps in the roof-rack feet are loose before positioning the feet on your roof.

Before attaching the clamps to the door jambs and tightening them down, you need to make sure that the feet and pads are oriented correctly. The bottom of each foot can be rotated to better fit the slope of your roof. Make sure that the feet are sitting flush against the roof.

Once the feet are properly positioned, attach the clamps to the door jambs and tighten via the screws in the feet. After the front crossbar is positioned, review the instructions for the measurements needed to place the rear crossbar and repeat the same process for that crossbar.

Once everything is tightened down, place the locking covers over the feet to deter theft of the rack.

  • Recommended Roof Rack and Cargo Carrier for 2013 Toyota Corolla
For your 2013 Toyota Corolla, I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA118B-2, the 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA, and the Custom DK Fit Kit # DK152. This is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. I also recommend the metal lock cores # RRVA-LEC4 for when you use the T-channel mounting for accessories that have that mount that fits in the slot on top of your crossbars instead of wrapping around them. Then for your rooftop cargo carrier, I recommend the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo...

  • Which Rhino Rack Roof Rack Fits a 2012 Nissan Rogue with a Naked Roof
Yes. The Rhino Rack Roof Rack for 2012 Nissan Rogue that uses the parts # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK146 is compatible with your 2012 Nissan Rogue with a naked roof. As long as your kayak carrier can attach to aero/elliptical shaped bars, which most can, you'll be able to carry two 40-lbs kayaks without any issues. I've linked a review and installation video of this kit you can check out as well if you need any tips when it comes time to install the rack.

  • Best Fitting Roof Rack Recommendation for 2009 Honda Accord
Hey Benoit, if you are looking for the best fitting roof rack for your 2009 Honda Accord that is priced a little easier I would go with the Inno roof rack part numbers # IN33QR which is a fully custom fit rack for your Accord. The Sportrack you mentioned is a semi-custom rack designed to fit as many vehicles as possible which basically means it doesn't fit all of the vehicles very well. If you needed a one time use roof rack this is a solid option but if you want something that fits well...

  • Recommended Cost-Effective Roof Rack for a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2012 Nissan Maxima
The SportRack # SR1002 is a Semi-Custom roof rack. It will fit your 2009 Chevrolet Malibu and will work if you are looking for the most cost-effective option out there. If you plan on using the roof rack frequently though I highly recommend going with a custom roof rack for your Malibu. A custom rack is one that uses a fit kit specially designed and tested to fit your roof properly. The most cost-effective option we have in this category is the Inno rack which consists of the Square Crossbars...

I have attached the written instructions for the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs # SR1002 below. Page 6 lists the measurements for Honda vehicles. Keep in mind, this rack is designed to fit the Crosstour model. If your 2011 Honda Accord is a sedan you need the # SR1010 instead.

  • Replacement Key for Sportrack # SR1002 Roof Rack with 016 Lock Cylinder
They are two possible key options for your 016 lock on your Sportrack Roof Rack # SR1002. The Replacement Key for Thule and Sportrack Racks and Carriers - N016 # THKEYN016 is a possible fit but the Replacement Key for Sportrack Racks and Carriers - Y016 # THKEYY016 is also a possibility. I would get one of each and one will work. If you choose to drill out the lock core instead, be really careful to not drill outside the core and damage the rack. Then you can replace the lock with #...

  • Will Roof Rack Cause Any Damage to 2010 Honda Civic?
In NO way will the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1002 by itself cause any damage to your 2010 Honda Civic, nor will it affect the way your doors shut. This roof rack clamps onto the area between the rubber molding on your door jambs and the door sill, which creates a secure rack and no interference at all with your doors. So long as you install it carefully and at the correct points as specified in the directions you'll be good to go.

I checked with SportRack and none of the Frontier roof racks will fit the 2012 Nissan Rogue with a naked roof. But not to worry because I have a great recommendation for you. For an economical roof rack you can use Rhino-Rack roof rack. You will need the following parts: Vortex Crossbars # RRVA126B-2 Feet # RRRLKVA Custom DK Clamps and Pads # DK146 It costs a little more than a Frontier roof rack that won't fit your vehicle, but the Rhino-Rack roof rack is custom whereas the Frontier...

  • Recommended Methods for Carrying Four Bikes on 2002 Honda Accord 2-Door
Due to its very low tongue weight capacity (maximum amount of weight that can be applied to the receiver), the bike rack and hitch manufacturers agree that any bike rack used in a Class I receiver be limited to carrying two bikes only. Not only does the limited weight capacity come into play here, but any additional bikes placed on a rack will place the load of the additional bikes further away from the hitch. As more weight is added further away, more leverage is exerted on the hitch which...

  • Adjusting Feet of SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack to Fit 2004 Honda Accord
The feet on the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1002 referenced in your question can indeed be moved around a bit to accommodate different roof slopes. If the feet are fixed on your system make sure the allen bolt under the locking cover isn't tightened down. Loosening up this bolt should allow you to adjust the feet and clamp to fit your Honda Accord. If you are still having issues please let me know and I will be happy to look into this further.

The SportRack Roof Rack for the 2005 Honda Accord, part # SR1002, fits your 4-door sedan. SportRack does not offer fairings for their roof rack systems. I checked with my contact at Thule and they advised that the SportRack square crossbars have dimensions that make them incompatible with the hardware supplied with Thule fairings. Just to be absolutely certain I did test-fit a Thule fairing on the SportRack crossbar. As Thule advised, and by a very small margin, the hardware will not...

I recommend the Inno Roof Rack, part # INXB100-108, # INXS200, and # INK593. This is a custom fit roof rack that features aerodynamic crossbars that reduce wind drag and noise. In order for the roof rack to fit correctly, the feet need to be located in a very specific spot on the vehicle's roof. Yes, the SportRack Square Bar Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1002 is listed to fit both a 2009 Toyota Corolla Sedan and a 2008 Honda Civic Sedan. Please note that since this is a semi-custom roof rack it won't fit the best and I don't really recommend using this if you plan on using the roof rack a whole lot.
