Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Stromberg Carlson wheel chock stabilizers for tandem axle trailers and RVs. It is for a quantity of two of them. Now these stabilizers will install between the tires on your tandem-axle to eliminate movement between the tires, which will help prevent rocking of your trailer or your RV When it's parked. These are adjustable and it can be installed when the spacing between the tires is from two inches minimum, all the way up to 17 inches, maximum length.
If you notice on the arms where you install these, they do have a grooves on them, and those are to grip the tire tread to prevent slipping when you're tightening these down. It does come with a nice included wrench, makes it very easy to expand the chock and you can just detach it when it's not being used. So if you put this on here, and if we go ahead and crank it, you can see clockwise, it expands out against the tires. So basically to install these. What you want to do is first adjust the length of the chalk, to fit the sides closest to the spacing that's already between your tires.
Once you do that, then just grab this handle right here, which is on each one and use the handle to place the chalk between the two tires. And then with it, between the tires, using the included wrench to adjust the screw till it tightens up against both tires. And what you want to do is apply enough torque to slightly deform the tire treads so it stays in place. One thing is you do want to make sure not to over-tighten it. Now also, if there's no room to access this socket, you can see I have the socket head at the top here, but if there's no room to access it at the top, it can be turned over and installed this way and accessed upside down if needed.
Now this is steel construction, which is very durable, has a nice coating on it, which makes it rust resistance. And as we mentioned does have these nice handles on it to help hold these in position. A few specs on this, the application again is dual axle trailers and RVs, and the quantity is for two chocks. And again, if you crank it the other way, you can see that'll expand it, expand or retracted into the close position, but that should do it for the review on the Stromberg Carlson wheel chock stabilizers for tandem axle trailers and RVs..

Products are always as described and only from quality manufacturers. I will keep coming back.
First of all, superior customer service. Expected 3 day delivery, received the day after I placed the order.
Product arrived in perfect condition. Very easy and straightforward installation. We are amazed at how much these chocks reduce shaking in our 5th wheel. The shaking, squeaking, swaying we experienced is 99% gone.
Highly recommended, wish I bought these years ago.
Sturdy and adds an extra layer of stability. Reduces the front to back "jiggle" to nearly zero after combing with tire chocks. I also feel like this reduces some of the stress on my stabilizer jacks - which should be good for them as well.
Do their job and still look like new. The rv gets used year around for a remote work location. These have been in the elements for a year and still look like new.
Excellent product excellent service
I love these wheel chock stabilizers. I am in my late 60's and female so I need things to make me feel safe and confident. When I get ready to off load my camper I put these in place to ensure it doesn't roll forward on me as it has in the past. I have had my camper roll over chocks and flatten others. These take less than 5 minutes to install, plus they go on easy with my drill.
They are easy to use and very convenient, we have not had any issues with them. I enjoy the fact that they already come with the correct size ratchet wrench for east tightening and release. They hold my Heartland Bighorn in place without any problems.
Junk not worth the money broke second time I used them
They bent after 3 uses.

Just to make sure, the purpose of these chock wheel stabilizers is to limit front-to-back motion on parked tandem-axle trailers. You should not use them as a brake, wheel chock, or wheel wedge. Do you have any pictures of the bends?

Only the one bent and trust me it didn’t happen from over tightening. I hammered it back out, but the two braces were bowed completely out. I hammered them out the first time then went camping and used it again and it bowed again. I think the metal is just weak.

Oh well that does not look good at all. Lets hurry and get you over to our customer service department. These jacks have a two year warranty.
An absolute must have for 2 and 3 axel trailers. Easy to use and prevents any rolling.
They work great!
I ordered the wheel chokes on 1/10 and they arrived on 1/13, I put them on today (/14) and they work great, trailer does not move when walking in it. What I paid for a pair of them (including freight and tax) is what my local RV dealer sells one for. You will not be disappointed!!!

I have used these wheel chokes for a year, I put these on the wheels before I unhook the trailer from my truck and they insure the trailer will not move, they stabilize the trailer while parked. I highly recommend this.
Easy to use and safe. Peace of mind.
These wheel stabilizers really do the trick. We use them with our Airstream 27FB Globetrotter. It makes for a quick and secure setup. I recommend them whole-heartedly! I advise putting a little grease on the thrust bearings periodically for easier deployment and longevity. Enjoy!
I’ve only use these a few times, but they have worked very well. I’ve been very impressed with them.
Chicks are exactly has expected.
First product was lost In transit but customer service reached out the evening of expected delivery, informed them it never showed, within an hour they had the new Second product shipped out in replacement with no hassles to me. Great experience
We have a 36' travel trailer with spread axles. These work great in addition to the stabilizers to stop the rocking movement of the trailer.
Folks at etrailer have always been helpful. First shipment was lost by UPS 10 miles from my house. Problem is the box it's shipped in came apart and address was lost. etrailer was on top of it and shipped another unit which I received no problem. Using Leveling distribution hitch next week.
Products are all good and installed, best part was Joann, she was as good as it gets for customer service these days.
Haven’t had a chance to use them
Easy to install. Helps with wigglyness.
Well built and easy to use. Back and forth rocking motion has been eliminated. I'm kicking myself for not buying wheel stabilizers years ago.
Made our 5th wheel more steady in the back. High quality product
They never would really expand against the tire like they are supposed to. also, one of them the bearings have started to fall out. They are not worth using.
Easy to use and very effective

These wheel stabilizers have worked well this past year, they are well built and still function like new.
