Hello, everybody. This is Jeff atetrailer.com. Today, we take a look at this TRED GT leveling ramps with the chalks. Now this TRED GT leveling ramps will have been engineered to keep your vehicle or trailer secure and level. Uses a TRED link design you can see, which allows you to nest all the components together in one part for a nice easy grab and go convenience. Total weight in this part, it's only about nine pounds.
Now these leveling ramps will include the two leveling ramps. We'll go ahead and separate 'em so you can see. And then on the ends, you can see the fluorescent green. That's the chalks. The leveling ramp, chalks.
Now if you need to remove those, now you can use these, and drive your tires up on here and leave the chalks as they are there. But if you want to use those as a chalk behind the tire, what you could do is just slide this off, and they'll slide either way. I'm gonna pull it towards me, you can move it and there's your chalk. So basically what happens is, once your tire's up on there, even if this was on there, and your tire's up on there, and you decide to use this as a chalk, slide it off, put it behind the tire, and then just push it up. I do wanna zoom in just to show you.
There are these rough edges you can see going one way. So it gives you a ratchet action. So when you put this down, you can push it in this direction back under the tire, and then when you let it go, it locks into those edges, and holds it in place. So if you start down here, and you want to push it up to underneath the tire, once it's in place, let it go and it locks there. So it gives you a good wheel chalk.
Now if you look on the top of the ramp, the honeycomb design on it , gives a nice superior strength. It is rated for 5,000 kilograms, which is a little over 11,000 pounds. The bottom of the ramp itself is a nice full flat surface. This will help support the vehicle or trailer on soft surfaces. And as we mentioned, the ramp could be used with the chalks installed or they can be easily removed from the ramps after the tires are on them, and use it as the chalk as I showed you. And again, they easily slide. Just slide this up, drop it into place, slide it, and they lock into place. What's also nice, if you look on the end of each one over here, and over here, they have these cutouts that you can run a strap through. So you can have a strap on these that you could use to pull it out. And then when you put it under as a chalk, if you need to remove it, you can use the straps instead of reaching with your hands underneath there. The ramps themselves, let me remove the chalk. They'll give you a total of four and a half inches of lift from the bottom to the very top right here with the chalk removed. And also the shorter length on this ramp will allow it to fit in between some of the larger size off-road tires that are out there on some of those tandem axle setups. A length of just the ramp, this portion is 14 and a half inches with the chalk removed. Last thing I'm gonna do is give you some dimensions on the ramp itself. The height, you said, four and a half inches this way. a width, nine and three quarter inches this way. The ramp length, just the ramp is 14 and a half inches. And the base length, 16 and a half inches. So again, to put it back together, we'll go ahead and take our chalk. Line it up, slide it, locks into place. This one's already installed. And then when you go to put 'em together, it's pretty easy. You'll see there's, right here, there's two knobs, and then up at the very top, there's two holes. I'm gonna me zoom out here. Two knobs down here. Two holes up here. Line it up with the opposite over here. The knobs go into holes down here. Once you get those lined up, and then they line up here, you'll push it down, and you hear it lock into place. Once it's locked into place, the parts are all nest together. But that should do it for the review on the TRED GT leveling ramps with the chalks.
