Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at these MAXTRAX recovery boards. These boards are going to provide the traction that you need when your tires become bogged down in snow, mud, or sand. The rows of traction teeth provide a surface that your tires can really grip onto. I'm gonna turn this to the side so you can see those teeth a little bit better. And these are constructed of a fiber reinforced nylon, so they are going to be very lightweight and yet very strong.
They only weigh about seven and a half pounds per board so they are gonna be light enough for you to easily haul in and out of your vehicle. And then they are gonna be strong enough to bear the full weight of a vehicle weighing up to five and a half tons without breaking. The built-in handles as well as the included leashes will make it very easy for you to locate and pull the boards out of the sludge after you use them. These can also be used as shovels to clear out any debris from under the vehicle to ensure that the wheels are bearing the weight of the vehicle. You are going to get two of these boards.
They do measure about 45 and a half inches in total length. Our width we're right at 13 inches and each one is right about three inches tall. They do stack together very easily so you can store them and then your height is at three and a half inches when stacked. So they are gonna be very compact for you, very easy to move around, store where you need them to be. And then get them out if you were to ever find yourself in a situation where you need that extra traction, they'll be ready for you.
These do come with a lifetime warranty, so if you we're to ever have any issues with them, you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. But I think these are gonna be a great item to have on hand, especially if you're gonna be doing much off-roading at all. Just having these available for you so that you can get that extra traction.
