Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Roadmaster Bulb and Socket Set for Tail Light Wiring Kits. This set includes two bulbs and two sockets, designed to work with Roadmaster's Tail Light Wiring Kit. Each socket has a three-wire design that would easily connect to the Roadmaster Wiring Kit. With these installed in your vehicle, along with a wiring kit from Roadmaster, it's going to allow you to use your towed vehicle signal lights without tapping into the towed vehicle's wiring system. This is going to be ideal for flat towing applications. When installing this, you will need a one inch diameter hole for the installation and around two and a half inches of available space inside the tail light assembly for these to install without harming any other components inside the assembly due to the heat that these will produce. If you ever need to replace a bulb, it uses a 1157 double filament bulb.

I also recommend using some type of sealant around the mounting area to keep dirt and moisture away from the internal components of the tail light assembly. When it comes to the wiring, your black wire's going to be your ground wire. Your brown wire is for the running lights and your red wire is for the brake and turn signals.

Bought this light kit to install in the un-used bottom position in or 2005 Honda CR-V. No need to tap into vehicle's wiring harness. Easy to install, works great! Highly recommend.
This bulb kit is just what I needed to add trailer lights to my 'toad' vehicle. The sockets felt like quality items, it was simple to install. I had my own wire, I think it turned out great.
These lights worked great in the 2007 Jeep Liberty tail light housings.
I have had light problems with my Motor Home tow vehicle for quite some time. It seemed like every time we got ready to take a trip one or more of the lights would not work and troubleshooting them was a real pain.
After using the trailer wiring package and wiring it completely separate from the vehicles lights, I have had no trouble with lights not working when I tow the car. If I were to have a problem now, I don't have to involve the tow car factory wiring just the separate system. Works Great.
I have installed the RM-155-2 on our 2018 Equinox to remove the possibility of problems in the electrical system of an electronic rich vehicle. Following the instruction sheet, and the very good video available from etrailer, the installation was easy for any DIY home mechanic. After towing our Equinox the on the first trip, I found that the RM-155-2 kit performed as expected and am very pleased and happy that my vehicle warranty has not been voided by alteration of the electrical system.

RM-155-2 stil working beautifuly each and every time we hook up to travel. Still very happy that we installed this kit to avoid any possible electronic problems with the Equinox wiring system. Great product.

Great products, great service
This is a great way to be able to tow your vehicle without happen to have the key in the on position to have my lights work. This is on a Jeep 2001 Jeep wrangler. I also disabled the steering wheel lock. Now the keys are with me and not left in the ignition so it can be stolen.
Product arrived in excellent time. Was just what I needed. The only constructive comment that I can offer is that the diameter of the hole that must be drilled into the fixtures was not shown nor stated. I had to try drilling by trial and error on a scrap piece until I got the right hole size.

RoadMaster Bulb and Socket Set for Tail Light Wiring Kits part # RM-155-2 are replacement bulbs for Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit part # RM-155. The installation instructions for RM-155 require drilling a one inch circular hole through the back of the taillight housings. The holes must be circular and one inch to hold the sockets in place. I have attached a link for the installation instructions on RM-155.

Bulbs and sockets fit nicely into the taillight module for my new 2015 Chevy Sonic. Plenty of depth in the red lens module for the RM-155-2 sockets and bulbs when mounted near the factory bulbs, and recommended 1" hole saw was perfect size.
Allowed me to add towing lights to the car after an RV dealer said it couldn't be done, and at minimal expense.
This product seems to be of good quality and was delivered quickly. It will not work for my application. Check you tail lights closely, my 2014 ram has LED tail lights and I am unable to find a location that will allow me to install these. The non LED tail lamps are no problem.
These Roadmaster light pigtails were used with a Roadmaster 4-wire strand for full-functioning jeep tail-lights, wired straight through from motor home connection. Instructions included. Works great.

Still working brilliantly!
I received these sockets with bulbs in a timely manner and were just what I needed to wire my 2003 Jeep Liberty with turn signal and brake lights that were independent from the Jeep. They are now powered by my R.V. tow vehicle. Thanks etrailer, I could not find these anywhere locally. Great Product and easy to install. G. Ingle.

GREAT, Using this kit and bypassing the tow vehicles lighting system has meant many trips with no lighting problems. Defiantly recommend this.
