Today we are going to review part number PXQT765CHN. This is the Phoenix USA Quick Trim Chrome ABS Trailer Hub Cover. To fit wheels with an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern. Now this hub cover offers a quick, cost effective way to dress up your trailer wheels. It's made of a chrome ABS plastic, it's very easy snap on installation. Right here, these would clip right over the lug nuts on your wheel.
What's nice is that when this is on your wheel, it covers the lugs and it also covers the ugly hub that sticks through there. It gives it a nice, clean look to your wheel. This does fit on wheels that have an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern, the outside diameter on this cover, edge to edge, put a ruler on it, you'll be looking at 8 3/8 inches. Overall diameter. The height of the cover, from the very bottom to the top, looking right at, 4 1/4 inches. Again, the finish is a nice chrome finish. What I'm going to do right now is show you how this cap works.
We happen to pull a normal trailer wheel, that you'll see, the white 8 spoke design wheel. See if we can zoom out just a little bit, there we go. You can see the wheel is an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Basically, with this installed on your trailer, your hub will be coming through this hole here. Your studs would come through here that your lug nuts go on to.
Once this is installed, all you'd have to do is line these clips parts right here, up with the lugs. Then just snap it right into place. It pops in, snaps in right over the lug nuts and that's what holds it into place. Also, to get it off you'll just look, there's one section that has a little cut out. With it installed like that, you want to remove it Just put a screwdriver in there and then you can pop it right off to access the lug nuts. Now, one other thing I just want to show you. Once you put this on, it gives a nice finish-look to it if you want to make it more, we do sell a related product, that'll work on this.
It is part number PXQT865CLO. It's a chrome plated, again ABS plated, trim ring that you can add to it. It is sold separately on our website, it's usually listed on this product page as a related product. What you would do with this is there's a little area on here, right here, that is cut out. That cut out section is right by a hole here, you'd just line that up with where your valve hole is. That's the only thing you'll have to do. Then, it installs just like a hubcap. Once you line your valve stem up, just go ahead and tap this on just like a hub cover. It has the clips right on here that'll clip right into the wheel. It gives you a nice chrome trim ring and then with the added center cap on it, you can see, it gives you a whole chrome-looking wheel to your trailer wheel. I bought a dust cap & wheel cover for our Featherlite trailer. They look like the originals & fit great! I had to hit the dust cap pretty hard to get it in. It isn't going to fall off like the original.

Matches the OEM hubcaps on my horse trailer. Lost the previous replacements. Make sure you check to see if your lug nuts are 13/16" or 7/8" as both sizes have a 8 on 6-1/2" bolt circle.

It still joes the intended job after a year of use.

The hub cover was a replacement for one that came off our Kiefer Built horse trailer. Exact match. Fit great. Arrived prompt in excellent condition.

Thanks for the inquiry. I just checked our Featherlite enclosed car trailer. I bought this replacement when one of our center caps fell off. After a year, the other 3 caps have fallen off too, this new cap is still firmly on! I think we will be buying 3 more from you soon
