We replaced a worn-out OEM harness on our 2005 HR Endeavor, and it works perfectly!

This is the product I expected and it arrived in factory new condition.
To no fault of etrailer.com the currier wagon train and the ox’en that pulled the load were heading East. This was not the direction they were accustomed to so it took a few extra days. All in all good job I will do more business with this company.

1973 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup

Installation was easy, good instructions. used this in conjunction with a Prodigy brake controller on a 1973 Chevy K20 square body pickup, replacing my original. wired using crimp on connectors, fast easy, clean. Re taped all connectors and loom. Used silicone on the back of the to seal off moisture.

After a year of constant use the everything works perfect. So nice to hook up, plug in and go. Perfect.

I wish than all trailer wiring was color coded the same. I have wired a lot of trucks ant trailers and trouble shot problems and always solved the problems. this one gave some serious thinking since the wiring was color coded different. But it is working and I do like the Pollak plug.

This was a perfect replacement for an old worn out 7-pole connector on my motorhome. This unit has a heavy guage wiring harness with standard color coding for each wire. The socket has a sturdy spring loaded cover that should keep out water a dirt. The instruction sheet includes a wiring diagram. I like that the connector socket can be easily removed from the wiring harness if it ever needs replacement.

Although parts have only been installed less than a week this was a direct replacement for my Chevy Silverado 1500hd harness and outlet. I relocated from the side of the receiver to the bumper. Everything is provided in the kit. I used different hardware due to installing through bumper and different butt connections with heat shrink tubing because this was one of my reasons for replacing, the other being corrosion in harness to socket.

The trailer brake plug is working great a year later as expected.

After I received this item, it just sat on the shelf until I could find the time to install. I just review this and I find the 7-pin plug is missing. The mounting flange and wiring harness is there, but not the 7-pin plug.

I ORDERED A WIRING PLUG FOR MY 1989 CHEVY CAR HAULER AND IT WAS PROMPTLY FILLED AND SENT WITHIN DAYS TO MY HOME.

IT IS EXACTLY WHAT I ORDERED AND WAS THE SECOND ONE I ORDERED FROM ETRAILER.COM

THE OTHER WAS FOR MY DODGE PICK UP A COUPLE MONTHS PAST.

MAIL SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY PROMPT TO ME SINCE MY FIRST ORDER MANY MONTHS AGO.

2007 Ford F-150

his is the product if you do not have the trailer package on your vehicle. The 07 F150 I bought does not have the trailer towing package so I could not buy the plug and play version of this. The wire length is good so that you can easily locate the socket and still reach the vehicle's wiring harness. The instructions were good but I had trouble finding the correct lead for +battery to hook up to. Great price and delivery from etrailer as always.

by:

This has worked great on my vehicle. I put a 30-Lb magnet on bracket and that gives me the flexibility to mover the connector when in use.

JH

11/3/2020

Still working great. I like that it is hidden behind my bumper fascia until needed.

by:

Appears to be high quality connector! I like the fact that it comes apart so you can mock it up on your truck's bumper, frame, etc. and the connector is well made and even has a seal inside making it watertight. Glad i bought it! Istall appears to be very easy and the length is long enough to where you can have options during install.

by:

I purchased this as a replacement for an identical wire harness already installed on my vehicle. Old harness was occassionally losing taillight/running lamps. Note that the new harness is the same make and model as old harness yet 2 wires are of different color (i.e. old + wire was red, new + wire is black)...so trace your wires carefully if performing a replacement.

Harness was received in just a few days and included all needed components for installation. I soldered and used heat shrink tubing on connections. The inclusion of waterproof butt connectors would be a good addition to this package instead of the included standard butt connectors.

Great product. Very Well made and more than enough wiring to complete the job.
2000 GMC pickup and the wiring had been cobbled up back to the trailer receptacle.
Only took about 30 minutes to complete the job. The instructions regarding matching up the wiring from the truck to the new wiring harness were concise and easy to follow.

by:

A very good harness and it is working fine a year after I installed it, however, the mounting screws are rusting so the reason it did not get a five-star review is because in my opinion the mounting screws should’ve been stainless steel

by:
2008 Ford F-350, 450, and 550 Cab and Chassis

Product was just what I was looking for.
I would like to say something more about the etrailer.com customer service if I may.
I received a call from Molly with etrailer letting me know there was a slight shipping delay of one of my items in my order so if I did need it right away I could make necessary changes. I would like to personally thank Molly and the team at etrailer for going that extra mile!

by:

This connector socket and wiring harness were exactly what my husband needed to get his truck and trailer working together. Thanks for providing this complete solution!

by:

Working great. Initial install required running at lest one wire from the distribution panel at the front of the PU to the back because Pick up was not originally wired for a 7 pole plug. Been doing its intended job.

by:
1999 GMC Sierra

Worked great. Spliced the ends of the connector wires into the proper wires above the spare and mounted the unit on the bumper.
Mfg could have included some silicon dielectric compound for the electrical contacts.

To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 on your 2002 Chevy Silverado K3500 you need the Wiring Adapter # 3025-P which plugs in under your driver-side dash (see attached install video). We can help you with 7-way wiring and a brake controller for your 2005 Silverado. Your truck should already have wiring run for a 7-way; this is likely to be found tucked up above the spare tire. If you find blunt-cut wires there you will use part # PK11898. If you instead find a round U.S. Car connector then you will use part # 30955. Both of these options give you a 7-way socket on the vehicle. For a brake controller I recommend the highly-rated and easy-to-use Prodigy P2 # 90885. This...
