A P2-rated light produces a 45-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it cannot be seen clearly from the side. So this type of light can be used as either a side marker light or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both. If you need both functions, then you must install 2 separate lights on your trailer - one as a front or rear clearance light and one as a side marker light.
Surface-mount trailer lights install using a flange or bracket with mounting holes. These lights lay flat against the trailer surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware is used to secure the light to the trailer.

Hooked it up to a 12V battery before installing and the light did not work. Circuit board showed voltage but no light.

I have ordered from etrailers many times before and their service is 2nd to none.. When you pick up the phone to call someone about a product you actually get to talk to somebody on the phone who cares about your order. I recently had a product that did not work. I’ll call them on the phone on Sunday and they had it shipped to me a replacement within two days. I’m so grateful that there is still company that services the United States the way they do
So far , so good. Just finished installing them and the fit over the existing location was fine.

This clearance light is a perfect match to the others on my travel trailer and was very easy to install.
Perfect fit, easy squeezy installation
I accidentally nicked one of the lights on my trailer while backing up in the dark, I just needed the red outer shell. It was easy to swap out the broken one with the new one from this item, and now I have a backup electrical part for the light.
Did not understand why when ordered together, they came in separate packages on separate days. Otherwise very happy with the packages.
Still working fine!

It passed one year since I purchased an installed red side marker on my motorhome. Still working great and plastic parts not fading from UV light.
