Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Replacement Key Wall Control for MaxxFan Plus and Deluxe. This is going to be a 4-key wall control for your MaxxAir fan. It's going to give you your Fan Off, On, your Vent Open, and Close controls so you can easily control your vent and fan from across the room. You don't have to get up and operate it every time. We'll also have little covers for our hardware here. We get two screws to get this mounted onto the wall.
On the back of that mount, you'll see our connection to power there. It's just going to be that little plugin, and then these two holes are going to be our mounting holes. So, whenever you have your screws in place, you'll actually have the little black portion behind it. The little connector in between is just for shipping, but, basically, that just connects into that little opening at the top so it provides a secure hold on your wall mount there.Again, we'll have all four of those controls so we can easily operate our MaxxAir fan from wherever we are. This is going to work for the MaxxFan Plus, Part numbers 4751KS or 4951KS, and the MaxxFan Deluxe, which is going to be 8751K or 8951K.
This is going to be about 3-1/8" long, about 2-3/8" wide, and about 1-1/8" deep.That's going to do it for our look at the Replacement Key Wall Control for MaxxFan Plus and Deluxe.

The touch pad on my fan failed for some reason. It was easier and cheaper to buy the wall control than replace the touch pad. Still working great after a year.

No wiring instructions provided with the switch box. Nothing about what kind of plug in cable is needed. Going to have to take more time and research on line. I am doing a changeout from a different brand not a replacement of the same unit.

Typically, with replacement parts like these the manufacturer does not always include the manual. I have a link that I am sending that is a copy of the manual from the manufacturer's website. The wiring starts on page 4 of the manual.
Plug and play. Perfect replacement. Prior product was designed to fail with it's thin plastic cover. I had to make some modifications since the hole where the prior control was very large. I merely drilled holes in the mounting bracket so that it worked.
Original had thin plastic film covering the selectable switches. Worn thru and/or cracked. The new model I received has silicon buttons. Solid mode control. Thanks!

Works perfectly! Simple setup and indispensable for using the Maxxair fan.
Received item within a few days of ordering. Took 5 minutes to install; excellent replacement for the original controller that still worked but the plastic was coming off of it exposing the actual switch inside the controller.
This product worked perfectly as described. Plug and play less than 5 minutes to install. I also received the package in 3 days, I will definitely be ordering from this company again.

Very easy to replace old fan controller
Worked exactly as it should and fit well as a replacement.
Prices are competitive, products are as described, shipping is timely, and tracking is accurate. etrailer kept me advised on the status of my order every step of the way.
The wall control is a major improvement over the older model, it was easy to install. Depending on your trailer the existing hole may have been created by a hammer or gnawed into the wall by the manufacturer. In that case you might have to build some kind of bracing. Otherwise, it is a 10 minute job.

Don’t have the RV I bought the part for but it still worked good
The switch works great. Had to cut end off and splice back together to fish it down the wall and ceiling but works perfect with fan.
They both came in wrapped in bubble wrap, nicely protected in transit. I haven't plugged them in yet.

This is the perfect replacement for the original one. E trailer has so many helpful videos! And a large inventory, with ease in finding specific car/RV parts.
It must be wired wrong. I push the vent open and nothing, I push vent close and it opens and turns on the fan. I push fan on and it closes the vent, but fan stays on. I push the fan off and it closes the vent and turns off the fan. Not sure what is going on. Not pleased.

It does sound like something strange is going on. I would like to reach out to the manufacturer however I know that they will want to know what model of fan that you have is . Can you let me know?

I heard back from the manufacturer much quicker than I expected. To them it sounds like the wall control is faulty. They suggested to make sure that the RJ-11 cable is plugged in all the way in the wall control and to clean the terminals on the wall control.
Etrailer is an awesome place to do business! I have purchased items for my RVs from them. The staff Is always friendly when I call. I needed a replacement fan controller, and the service was great to get my part before our trip. Controller works great!
