Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Carpod cargo bag. Now as you can see, this bag is not loaded down with cargo. It's empty, so it's kind of flat, not giving you the full idea of what this is going to look like when you have all your gear in it. So on your screen, I am including a photo showing you what this is going to look like when you have your cargo in it and when it's ready to be mounted into your Carpod. Now this is going to work with the Carpod hitch cargo baskets that you see there on your screen.
I do have the model numbers there that this is going to work with. So this is going to do a great job of keeping your gear dry and protected from rain and other elements. This holds up to 13.75 cubic feet of gear, and this is going to secure to your cargo carrier with the included tie-downs. And so you have tie-downs here at the corners of this bag. And in case you didn't know, this can be used with the optional top lid that you see there on your screen.
And so that top lid isn't necessary for this, but if you wanna give it a little more security, I do have that item number there on your screen just to give you reference on it, or maybe you wanna pick that up. You can use that item number and pop it in the search field of our website and that will take you to that lid if you so desire. Now let me try to give you a closer view of this. So this is going to do a great job of protecting your cargo from rain, sun, dirt, and debris. And I wanted to give you a closeup here to showing you the hook-and-loop enclosures that's going to be all around the perimeter of this bag, the strips will rather.
And then we have a zipper here with two pulls. The zipper feels heavy-duty, and the zipper is actually going to be covered. And then you've got the flap that goes over the zipper with the hook-and-loop enclosures. So what that means is this is going to be virtually impenetrable by water. This is gonna be virtually waterproof, so you're not gonna have to worry about water and moisture getting into this bag when you have it closed properly.
Now what I'm gonna do is zoom back out here and go ahead and just flip this flap over so I can open this. So the hook-and-loop strips, it's not a continuous strip around the perimeter, they're just kind of separated by a few inches, but it's enough coverage that it's going to keep this flap down. So I'm just kind of flipping this flap up just like that. And then I'm going to open up the zipper. And the zipper has these pulls on 'em as well. So that's how you open it. And just to kind of give you a view inside there. So this has. You're not gonna have to worry about water and moisture entering into common leak points because of the heat-welded seams. And again, the waterproof zippers, and then this fold. So it's gonna be easy to open. It's, I guess you could call it like a wide mouth opening, so it's gonna be very easy to get your gear in. And when you have it loaded up the way you want it, you can just zip it shut. And I'm just gonna bring both of the zipper pulls to the center. This is constructed of heavy-duty, triple-layer, waterproof tarpaulin material. So sometimes this kind of material feels like it could easily tear. This does not feel like that at all. It feels like it's going to be very durable. I don't think you're gonna have to worry about easily poking a hole in it or tearing it, especially when you're using the zipper. So the flap, automatically, once I fold it down, it's going to adhere to that other part of the hook-and-loop fastener. And then there's your tie-down straps at the corners of either side there. And then when you're ready to store it, it's going to fold down pretty flat and take up virtually no storage space at all. It's gonna be very easy to store. Some overall measurements just to kind of give you an idea of the size. Looking at the length, we're sitting pretty close to about 47 inches long. And then the width, about 23 inches wide. And then when you have this fully loaded or fully stuffed with your cargo, it'll be roughly 22 inches tall just to kind of give you an idea of what to expect. But again, very strong material, very durable material. It's gonna be very easy to load it up and then unload. You're not gonna be rooting around smaller pockets or things like that. Everything is going to be very easy to see and take out and then put back in. Well, I think that's going to wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
