Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Lion's Head 15 inch by six inch condor black machined aluminum trailer wheel with a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this is an aluminum wheel. It's durable, lightweight and rust proof. And we mentioned it's the Condor series wheel, which is a split six-spoke design, has the glossy black finish, and then if you notice on the face of the spokes it's machined and even on the outer lip, the machine finish gives a nice shine to the wheel. They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to protect from scuffs and scratches.

Now, one of the nice features I like on this wheel is they put in these pressed in steel inserts into the lug nut wells that are designed to help keep your wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. What's nice with those is when you put this up on your hub, put your lugs on there tight or torque your lugs down. Those steel inserts will prevent those holes from wearing down or elongating over time. So eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. The valve stem, which you can see right over here, it is included and it is pre-installed in the wheel.

Now the center cap is not included. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those supplemental website. You do want to get a center cap that has the same diameter as the pilot hole here, 'cause when you install it, it'll go through this pilot hole. The pilot hole diameter on this wheel is 4.25 inches. Now this wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation, specifications and the SAEJ 1204 standards.

A few specs on this, we're gonna measure the diameter and the width, and the diameter is always measured inside the inside on a wheel. So if we take our tape measure, and if we go all the way across, you'll be able to see there's your 15 inch diameter. The width on the wheel, same way. You're gonna measure inside the inside or bead seat to bead seat. So it's six inches wide.

Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, it's an even number of lugs, like in this case, six. It's pretty easy because if you notice, the lug holes are directly across from each other. So all you have to do is pick any hole, let's say this one, and then measure from the center of that hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it. So on this wheel, it'll measure five and a half inches. So it's a six on five and a half inch bolt pattern. Wheel lug size is a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this wheel is 2,830 pounds.
