Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Lippert replacement lift assist strut. This is going to replace the 600 newton lift assist strut for your Lippert Solid Step three-step RV steps. This will work with the model number that you see on the screen there for your RV door frames that are 25 inches to 28 7/8 of an inch wide. This is gonna be an exact replacement from Lippert, so you can trust it is going to work with those RV steps.

Our overall length, just to give you a little extra reassurance here, from one ball socket to the other ball socket, we're looking at right at 27 inches. The rod length itself, just shy of 12 inches. About 11 13/16 of an inch. These ball sockets are 10 millimeters, so they are going to snap right onto those 10 millimeter ball studs. So, very easy to get this installed and connected, and it's gonna provide that nice and secure connection for you.

And then, of course, help to lift those RV steps up. And as they're coming down, make sure that they're not gonna come down too fast.
