Hello neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Lipper Component Clear Oil Cap and it's for an 8,000 pound oil bath hub. Now folks, this is made of a nice clear polycarbonate cap and it simply screws into your 8,000 pound oil bath hub. It's got the included O-ring as you can see. It's gonna allow for better retention and also give you that visual inspection of the oil level that you need.
It also comes with the rubber cap here as well. Now as far as some dimensions on this guy, lemme get my ruler out here. Okay, starting with the threads here. On the outside of the thread, I was getting an overall diameter of 2 3/8 inches. On the hex head itself, I was getting 2 1/4 inches.
The overall width of this guy from side to side and I used some straight edges earlier to get it, I was getting 3 1/4 inches, and again, that's side to side. Now the height I was getting overall, including the top of the plug down to a level surface, I was getting about 1 3/4 inches tall. The rubber plug itself was 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Again, folks, this is a replacement clear cap. It's gonna screw in for your oil cap on your 8,000 pound oil bath hubs.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching, and have a great day.
