Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Replacement Gear Motor by Lippert Components. This is going to replace the Lippert Component's Single-Rail Above Floor Slide-Out Gear Motor. It's part number 368221 or 524664. This does have your double shaft motor with the mid-torque rate. It includes the bolt and the pin.
It's also going to include your pre-installed fuse holder and 15-amp fuse. Now it is important when you're looking for a replacement motor to make sure that you are getting the exact same motor that originally came with your motor home. So the best thing to do is to check your original motor for the part number. You can see here, we have got our 368221 part number. You may also see that 524664 number there. Either way, this will work for you.
If you see a different number there, the best thing to do would be to come to etrailer.com, type that part number in the search bar, and see if another motor pops up for you. It is important to make sure that they fit.If you're not finding that part number, it could be an outdated part number. So I'd encourage you to call us. We've got a whole customer support team that can help you find that updated number so that you're getting the right motor. If you can't find a part number at all, you can look at your whole assembly for your slide-out.
There should be a system number that you can find. If you give that to one of our customer service agents, they will be able to help you find the correct motor for you. But if you've got either of those part numbers, the 638221 or the 524664 on your original, then this is going to be the motor that you need for your assembly. So it should be very easy to hook up just right in place of the original and get you back to operational for your slide-out.That's going to complete our look for today. I hope this video has been helpful in determining if this is the right part for you or to help you find the motor that is going to work for your situation.Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
Thanks for watching.

Replaces the gear motor for your Lippert Component single-rail above floor slide-out (524664). Double shaft motor with mid-torque rate includes bolt and pin.I needed to replace both of my PowerGear P/N 524664, 130-1305 slide-out motors, and determined from the Q&A on this part, that this was the correct replacement for it. The reason for replacement is catastrophic failure of the gear boxes. Both have cracked, and stopped working. (see photos). This motor seems to be the exact fit - it mounted with perfect spacing on the bracket, and the original bolts were the correct thread and size. I've only cycled the motor a few times, but so far, it seems to be identical. ...I only wish I knew the cause of the failure of the other motors, so I can assure a longer lifespan on the replacements.
Part as advertised and fast service
I ordered the exact replacement part, so of course it fit perfectly.
Appreciate the great service.
No padding in the box to absorb shock of shipping box damaged but motor was serviceable with a few scratches.
A little expensive but good quality
fits great works just as it should
Works good, Quite expensive.
Thank you
