Ellen: Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement Spring Loaded Turnbuckle. This is going to be for your Happy Jack Original Turnbuckle Set, so if something happened to one of your turnbuckles and it needs to be replaced, maybe it got bent, damaged, something happened to it, this is going to be that direct replacement for that. So it's going to have an 11 inch threaded hook and then a half inch hex nut to tighten that down and jam that in place. So it will be tight and secure. One end is going to attach to your camper, the other end is going to attach to the anchor point on your trucks tie down system. So as far as the total measurement, if we thread this all the way out, which it pretty much was at, I'll thread that back on and then I'll give you a measurement there.
So that's about as far out as I would really say it can go, but total it's going to be about 24 inches or about two feet long.And then if we thread it all the way down, it will be quite a bit shorter than that. So you do have some adjustability for that turn buckle to make sure that you get everything nice and tight and secure on your camper. That way it's not sloshing around, it's going to stay nice and stable and be secure down the road. That spring loaded design is going to help to give this a little bit of give and recoil to keep everything tight and secure on your truck. And I know I said I was going to tighten this all the way down but I think you get the idea.
You're going to have a lot of adjustment for that bolt. It is 11 inches long, so if we go from 24 down to about 13 inches, it's probably going to be about the shortest that we can get that, it'll be 13 or 14 inches from end to end. This is made in the USA and that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the replacement Spring Loaded Turnbuckle for your Happy Jack Original Turnbuckle Set.
