Works great. Huge improvement. Two bolt easy installation. So much better than the manual method. FYI, snap a picture of your connection prior to install. Helps with wiring connection.

Returned the motor. Got a replacement and had to return it. Turned out to be the landing gear shaft, not the motor. Great service as always

Landing gear is still working great. God bless.

Have ordered several items from etrailer.
Always got the correct item and on time.
They even called me when an item was backordered and then let me know when available.
Used this motor to replace a worn out underpowered motor on Ultra-Fab Rear Electric Stabilizer for Trailers and RVs - 32" Lift - 3,200 lbs. Had to fabricate a small adapter shaft (a slotted rod) for it to work.
It works great and lot faster and stronger. It is louder, but the tradeoff is worth it.

I paid a little more hoping you pay for what you get I installed this on my 2009 Keystone Raptor RP300MP Toy hauler I installed this in literally 3 minutes Anyone could do this, and you can do it with the load on the landing gear. Please note I have not had the chance to wire it back into the wiring system the old one was wired directly to a different 12v battery source since I have had this RV for a short time I am going to see if I can find a Diagram for the wiring but was able to get it up in my truck and move my trailer. Etrailer shipped this on a Saturday I was please with the turn around time This is the first online review I have created and that was because how helpful reviews were when choosing this purchase and Etrailer sent the link so it was a reminder. Thank You

by:

Works great and our camper is really for camping now.

by:

The front landing gear motor on our 2010 Keystone RV Montana Fifth Wheel went south. This product was the perfect replacement and did the trick. I am very impressed with etrailer.com's customer service and efficient delivery. Have ordered two items from etrailer.com in the last week, and both customer reps (Heidi and Dylan) were very professional and extremely helpful. Thank you so very much!

by:

The associates where helpful in picking out the right motor for rv landing gear. The delivery was fast, and the motor work as specified. Not like the previous one I purchased else where, it could not lift the trailer up without assistance. The follow thru was amazing. Would recommend etrailer anytime.

by:

Etrailer is awesome. They are on it! Excellent follow up.

One year out, working fine. etrailer has amazing follow up.

by:

Came before they told me, works great.

by:

etrailer was great in providing all of the information and support in getting the right products for solving my landing gear problem.

by:

Worked great, easy to install

by:

Perfect fit.thank you for being there with the correct parts needed for my older faith wheel trailer

by:

After looking all over town and a another state . Then I went to parts 4 less and found etrailer . com and found my part I needed.Everything works fine. Frank J

by:

This was the more expensive of the four choices etrailer offers. It works fantastic.

by:

The motor bolted onto the landing gear easily. Cranking the landing gear up and down manually was much more work than I had anticipated. :)

by:

Your product was as advertised. It works well, but is very slow compared with the original factory installed one that had no manufacturer's name. Thank you.

It is exactly the part I needed that replaces the original equipment from the purchase of my trailer in 2006

by:

Works as should. Could be stronger and faster.

  • Best Landing Gear Upgrade Options for 5th Wheel Trailer
We do have motors that you can add to your landing gear. For example, the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 can be operated with the manual crank # RVLG-HDL but you can also add the motor # LC142178 and switch # LG-145236 for effortless operation on your end. The next upgrade for landing gear is the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010. This is rated for up to 12,000 lbs and operates via separate motors so you can easily level your 5th wheel trailer without using blocks...

  • Replacing ADTH 1RV-200 Landing Gear Motor
From what I could find it looks like your ADTH 1RV-200 motor has a weight capacity of 6,500 lbs. You can use a motor that is rated for a higher capacity, like our replacement motor # LC142178 for Ram landing gear which is rated at 8,000 lbs. Just keep in mind that just because the motor is rated for a higher capacity it doesn't raise the capacity of your landing gear. Please note that the mounting hole spacing is 4" on center for this motor. For a similar motor, I recommend going with...

  • Troubleshooting Landing Gear That Blows Fuses When Under a Load
Fuses blow because the circuit is getting overdrawn. If the motor of your landing gear is fine but you are still blowing fuses that would indicate that either you are overloading the jack and it is drawing too much amperage, or the next likely candidate would be that the gear box of the jack is damaged and is causing the motor to work too hard to raise or lower the trailer. If there is a manual lever on your landing gear you could try raising and lower the landing gear with it to determine...

  • What is the Difference Between Lippert Landing Gear Motors LC241795 and LC196308
The two motors are for very different applications. The part # LC241795 is a replacement for the Lippert Ground Control 2.0 system which is an auto leveling landing gear setup and the # LC196308 is for a heavy duty landing gear set. Can you get me any info/part numbers you can find on your Raptor's landing gear? With that I can see if there's a replacement out there.

  • Recommended Replacement Landing Gear Set for a 2004 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel Trailer
When you are looking for replacement landing gear the 2 big things to take into consideration are the weight of your trailer and the weld stop locations on your current setup. Since the GVWR of your 2004 Cougar is 10,300 lbs our Landing Gear Set w/ Handle # RVLG-8HDL that you referenced can handle the weight capacity of your RV. Keep in mind that some of the weight of your trailer is still supported by the axles and tires so a landing gear setup doesn't need to be rated for the total GVWR...

  • Replacement Landing Gear for a 1996 Sea Breeze 5th Wheel Trailer
If you take a look at the picture I have included you will see several measurements on a landing gear leg. If your existing landing gear jack legs match then it has the standard spacing so # RVLG-8000 with motor # LC142178 is a great option that won't break the bank. If you also need to replace the switch use # LG-145236. If your legs have different measurements let me know what they are and I can determine if there is a better option.

  • Option for Upgrading Atwood Landing Gear from Manual to Electric Set
The Atwood line of landing gear jacks has been discontinued for some time so to upgrade to an electric set you'd have to go with new landing gear like the # RVLG-8HDL and then install the motor part # LC142178 with it and you'd have a very similar setup but with a motor that will make raising and lowering the trailer easier.

  • Landing Gear Replacement for 2007 Keystone Cougar 29BHS
If your brackets are 2" tall then you most likely have the standard weld stop measurements of 15-1/2" inside to inside (see attached photo). With this being the case I recommend going with the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 which has a weight rating of 8,000 lbs and offers 20-1/2" of travel. Since you have an older trailer I bet the weld stops have just been wedged in the mounting brackets which is why you are having a hard time finding them. This set comes with the gearbox and you can either...

  • Landing Gear Legs Do Not Travel Far Enough to Level Weekend Warrior 5th Wheel Trailer
One possible cause of the landing gear not working properly is electrical especially considering you have already replaced mechanical parts. If the battery does not have enough charge it can cause the landing gear to not operate properly. But if you need longer legs or a system with more travel then we can look at alternate systems. A system such as # RVLG-8000 has 20-1/2 inches of travel in the legs but also has drop legs for more adjustability making this a great system for your needs....

  • Replacement Landing Gear for 1995 Sierra by Cobra
For replacement landing gear on your 1995 Sierra by Cobra you can use the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8HDL. Since nothing matches your weld stop measurements you will also need to weld on new brackets # LC113511. This landing gear has a capacity of 8,000 lbs and uses the standard inside 15-1/2" and outside 17-1/2" measurements found on most modern landing gear. If you want to add a motor it is available separately # LC142178.

  • Determining Which Replacement Landing Gear Fits 2007 Everest 5th Wheel Trailer
I would be happy to help you find the correct replacement landing gear for your 2007 Everest 5th Wheel trailer, but the only way to confirm this will be to measure the weld stops of your current landing gear setup. For example the Landing Gear Set - 36-1/2" Lift - 8,000 lbs # RVLG-8000 you were looking at has weld stops that measure 15-1/2" inside to inside and 17-1/2" outside to outside as shown in the included diagram. • Replacement Landing Gear For A 2008 Weekend Warrior Road Warrior 5th Wheel Toy Hauler
Hey Bob, Landing gear components aren't all interchangeable between brands so I'd need to know the exact model to find replacement parts for your current system. If you're just wanting to replace the landing gear as a whole then I'll need to know the the spacing for the weld stops. For example, the Landing Gear Set w/ Handle # RVLG-8HDL you were looking at has a 15-1/2" inside and 17-1/2" outside measurement, which is a pretty common spacing. • Replacement Trailer Landing Gear Motor for Ragen Toy Hauler
Since the gears work easily when not under load and you are able to manually assist the motor when under load, the gears are not the issue. It sounds like the clicking is a relay that is tripping and resetting so it sounds like either the wiring or the motor is the issue. To bypass the current wiring, you can run a jump wire from the battery to the motor and then from the motor to the frame. This will show you if the motor is bad or if you have a different issue with the wiring or switch....

  • Troubleshooting Atwood Landing Gear Leg That Doesnt Move
It sounds like the screw itself is damaged if the motor and gears are turning but the leg isn't moving. Atwood no longer is in the 5th wheel landing gear business so I recommend replacing your landing gear completely. The reason you would need to change out your whole set is because both legs need to move at the same ratio so that your trailer raises and lowers evenly on both sides. Since replacement parts are already becoming scarce for Atwood landing gear it would be better in the long...
