6 Amp breakers ARE NOT a standard industry item in the automotive world.

Breakers have not needed to trip yet. I doubt that they ever will unless a wiring to ground short occurs of a switch is HELD with motor rotor lock for more than a second or two!

by:

Exactly on time

by:

Replacing the fuse thhat blew and did not Reset

by:

This is a hard to find part. My RV dealer said I needed a new stabilizer motor after it quit working. All I needed was this breaker to get my unit working again. You need to have a spare one in your tool kit.

by:

Fast delivery

by:

With the OEM installation being open and exposed to road salt and other contaminants, my relay burned out way sooner than it should have. Exact match to OEM and returned my stabilizers to service.

  • What is the Difference Between the 2 Breakers Needed to Install a Lippert Electric Jack Switch
The Pollak Circuit Breaker # PK54520 is a 20-amp circuit breaker that installs between the battery and the Replacement Electric Jack Switch # LC387874. While the Replacement 6-Amp Auto Reset Breaker # LC134181 is a 6-amp breaker that installs between the Replacement Electric Jack Switch # LC387874 and the jack motor. I have also included a wiring diagram that shows this.

  • Troubleshooting Lippert Stabilizer Jack That Was Over Loaded
If you have a stabilizer system like Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707, then you should be able to check out the attached wiring diagram to verify where the fuse and breaker should be. The breaker is inline of the red wire in between the motor and switch; if you need a new breaker then you can use Replacement 6-Amp Auto Reset Breaker # LC134181. The fuse is inline of red wire between the battery and the switch; replace with fuse of same rating if fuse is blown. If you...

  • Can The Auto Reset Breaker for Lippert Power Stabilizer Jacks Be Reset?
The 6-Amp Auto Reset Breaker for Lippert Power Stabilizer Jack # LC134181 is self-resetting. It automatically will reset itself after the breaker trips. If the circuit continues to draw more amperage than the breaker is rated for it will constantly trip and reset. You will be able to hear this if you are close to the breaker as it is happening. While it is possible for the breaker to go bad, since your jacks are going up fine it sounds like your motor may be overloading or the switch is...

  • Where are Circuit Breakers/Fuses Installed on Lippert Electric Stabilizer Jacks
The Lippert stabilizer jacks like you have use an 6 amp auto reset circuit breaker and a 20 amp fuse or breaker. If you check out the diagram I attached you'll see how it normally would be wired. For a 20 amp breaker you'd need the part # PK54520 and for a 6 amp breaker part # LC134181. If somehow the motors are bad they are part number # LC138445.

The Replacement 6-Amp Auto Reset Breaker for Lippert Components Power Stabilizer Jack # LC134181 are designed for use with the Lippert Electric Stabilizer Jacks that have switches such as the Lippert Components High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack - Black Waterproof Switch Kit # LC298707. I would not be able to guarantee any other breaker will work with this jack. If the Lippert jack is what you have, then the reset breaker is exactly what you need; to order one to your home in Canada you...

The Lippert Stabilizer uses a 6 amp auto reset circuit breaker and a 20 amp fuse or breaker. If you look at the diagram below you'll see where they normally would be located at. • Troubleshooting Circuit Breaker of Lippert Stabilizer Jack that is Tripping
It's not out of the question that the breaker could be bad which we offer the part # LC134181 as a replacement but it's also possible it's something else like the motor being bad and wanting to draw too much amperage which is causing it to trip. We have the replacement motor with the part # LC138445. You could bypass the breaker and see if the motor runs and if the wire starts to get too warm. If it works fine it's the breaker but if the wire starts to get warm it's the motor.

  • What to Check When a Rear Stabilizer Jack Is Malfunctioning
It is definitely odd that your jack is only doing this some of the time. Before getting too far into it, I highly suggest checking all the grounds as if one went bad, it can cause any number of weird things to happen. If your grounds all look good, you will need to check the screw that turns and makes the legs rise and lower. If this is getting bound up on something, it could be the issue. I would check to make sure there isn't anything stuck anywhere and clean it if there is. I also suggest...

  • Removing Broken Lippert Electric Stabilizer jacks
If your Lippert electric stabilizer jacks will not operate via their motors or via the manual crank (which is now broken) I am afraid the only option to let you move the trailer is to remove the damaged rear stabilizer jacks. You will need some method of safely stabilizing the rear of the trailer so that you can unbolt the damaged jack(s) and move the trailer. I understand that your rear jacks are off the ground already but for your safety I urge you to use stands like # UF48-979003 any...

  • Testing Circuit Breaker for Lippert Stabilizer Jacks

  • Lippert Front Stabilizer Jack Won't Go Down
On the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 you will want to test the different components to determine if it is the switch or possibly another component of your system. First I recommend running the jack manually to determine if you notice any spots where the jack seems to bind up. It the gears or shaft become damaged or bent this would cause the jack not to work properly. If you feel this then you will need to replace the jack. Next you will want to ensure that your...

  • Troubleshooting No Power to Lippert Power Stabilizing Jacks
In this instance, it's mostly likely either a bad ground wire, or the power wire coming from the battery has been damaged. You'll want to start by using a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to verify that the jacks are not getting power. If you're not getting power at any of the jacks, you'll want to trace the power wire back to the battery and check for damaged wires. It's unlikely that the ground wires would all be disconnected or loose at the same time, but I do also recommend making...

  • How to Test to See if Circuit Breaker is At Fault for Lippert Stabilizer Jack Setup
It is possible it's the breaker that's bad and you'd need the replacement part # LC134181 but you can test this actually pretty easily. Bypass the breaker by running the wires on each post of it to each other and if it goes back to working it's the breaker. Based on what you described I would assume this is the problem. You could also test the breakers with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 which has a probe needle. Test for voltage one the wiring on both sides of the breaker. If it's...

If your Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack - Black Waterproof Switch Kit - 30" Lift # LC298707 keeps pausing during operation then it sounds like there may be a bad wiring connection somewhere, your auto reset break like part # LC134181 keeps getting tripped, or something may be messed up with the operation of the jack itself. • 30 Amp Fuse Keeps Blowing on LCI Stabilizer Jacks Between Campsites
If the jacks are working most of the time, but blowing the fuse between campsites, it is most likely a ground issue. This could be loose, but could also be just a bad connection somewhere. I suggest checking all your ground connections on both the trailer and vehicle, just to make sure. One thing you could also try, is unplugging the trailer when starting the vehicle. It could be that the starting amps are getting too high for that fuse and causing it to blow. This is fairly unlikely and...

I really sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with the rear Lippert Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 on your travel trailer. The sporadic operation you're experiencing makes me think there's either an issue with the power source/connection or with a weak ground. The first thing I recommend doing is tracing the power wire all the way to the battery, making sure there aren't any pinched, exposed, or otherwise damaged portions of wire that need to be repaired/replaced. Verify that the...
