Works great put over 7,000 miles on trailer no problems, about to repack bearings with the remaining grease.

by:

Needed some fresh grease to install new wheel hub bearings. This did the trick.

by:

Excellent viscosity and workability. Worked well into the bearings by hand and have found no issues.

by:

Upon inspection if receiving my recent order I noticed that the packaging was sub par at best. The box didn't seem to be visually damaged externally, however the inside told a different story I ordered 2 sets of electronic brakes. Some hardware and a tub of packing grease. If you see the pictures attached, everything was thrown into a massive box without proper packing material and some of the items show signs of shipping damage. Some brakes were out of alignment and the grease canister was smashed almost to the point or rupture. For such a big company I would expect a little more care to be given to the several hundred dollars worth of parts in my order.

THE BEST TRAILER AXLE GREASE EVER!

by:

I keep buying from etrailer because their customer service just can't be beat.

by:

Packed my new trailer bearings. Looks and feels like good stuff. Shipped fast and complete!

works well

Works well for the job!

by:

There were no part numbers on my utility trailer's bearings and the part numbers on the hubs were not matching anything I could find online. I called eTrailer and spoke with Ashley. She did a great job at mapping over exactly what new part numbers I needed and had them shipped out; she was super helpful and patient. Everything fits and is working perfectly with my new ST175/80/D13 wheels and tires on my 5x8 2000 Eagle Utility Trailer. Prices are good and service was excellent. If eTrailer should improve on anything it should be the packaging. One of the new hub dust covers was bent/dented but still usable. Still worth a 5 star rating!

very high quality grease.is working great.

by:

I'm giving this grease a high rating mainly because it is being sold/recommended by etrailer. I think the only truly valid evaluation of any lubricant would be in strictly controlled laboratory conditions, such as electron microscope examination of wear patterns on bearing surfaces, changes in axial and lateral tolerances after a given number of revolutions or elapsed time parameters, etc. Otherwise, improper installation protocols, like over- or under tightening of axle nuts, overloading of the bearings, worn and leaky seals, etc. could be the true causes of bearing failures. All I can report is that there was no evidence of viscosity inconsistency or difficulty in application.

by:

Great customer service

by:

Not even 2 years after install all rusty. Electric brake pin broke due to rust.
Impossible To remove 4 bolt holding connector due To rust. I do not recommend

by:

Order arrived very quickly. Placed on Friday, arrived on Tuesday from Mo to Pa. Items were packed well and arrived in good condition. Upon initial inspection all items appear of good quality. Ordered tires, brakes with backing plates, hubs ,seals and grease. Haven't installed any items yet, but I am sure I will have no issues. Free shipping is a plus. Additionally unlike other free shipping offers that are out on the back burner for a week, order was processed and shipped promptly. I have recommended etrailer to friends and would highly recommend them to anyone.

by:

I was very happy with the bearing order. It was delivered at my shop about 1:00 PM the next day. The price was good and the PR was exemplary. I wish you could have cross referenced my bearing numbers to be able to identify the brake drum/hub. My neighborhood provider cross-referenced it within 15 seconds and sold me a pair of drums. He identified my axles providing me with the brand name and capacity. This may be a service you may want to research about providing your customers. In prior orders, you have provided great service and immediately corrected an error. I really appreciated that dependability. Thanks.

Good service and shipped quickly.

product to use. I just don't like the hand packing.

Thanks for the great feedback, have fun packing the bearings.

by:

Seems to be good grease. The important thing for me personally was that the support people at Etrailer educated me to learnt that there is a difference between bearing grease and HIGH Temperature bearing grease. They made sure I had the right product for repacking the bearing on my car trailer!!!

by:

This wheel bearing grease worked fine for my Airstream trailer wheels.

by:

Matched OEM perfectly

by:

Grease can arrived in great condition. Applied to bearings well.
etrailer answered questions about which grease to purchase for
my trailer. Thank You etrailer.

by:

Happy with product. Canister was damaged in shipment from being shipped in same box as heavy leaf springs, but etrailer quickly sent out replacement item ....free of charge!! GREAT customer service!!!!!

  • What Do I Need To Repack Bearings On A 2017 Jayco Jay Feather 16XRB
Hello Gabe thanks for your question. Our records indicate that the 2017 Jayco Jay Feather 16XRB uses a 3,500 lb axle. This means it will have the Inner Bearing # L68149 and Outer Bearing # L44649 which is very much standard. If you need to repack the bearings, I recommend getting the bearing kit # BK2-100. This will come with everything you will need to completely repack the hub - bearings, seals, races a cotter pin and tang washer. keep in mind you will need one bearing kit per hub. You...

If you choose to go with the etrailer option then you'll also need grease like part # L11380 to pack the bearings with. Attached are some videos for...

We can also provide bearing grease # L11380, if you are in need.

  • Replacement Bearings, Grease Seal, And Brake Assemblies For A Lippert 4,400lb Trailer Axle
Hey Richard, Based on the axle tag you provided you'll need the following components: Inner Bearing # L68149 Outer Bearing # L44649 Grease Seal # 58846 (single) # RG06-050 (2pk) You'll also want to pick up some hi-temp grease # L11380 to pack your bearings and lube the spindle. To save some money you can purchase these all together with the # BK2-100 kit that you were already looking at. You'll need two kits per axle. • Are There Pre-Greased Versions Of The Dexter 008-435-05 Hub/Rotor
Hi Wendell, We do offer compatible replacement hub/rotors for your Dexter 008-435-05 but they unfortunately do not come pre-greased. I recommend picking up the # K08-435-05 as well as bearings # L68149 and # L44649, and grease seal # RG06-050 to pre-pack the hub yourself with some lube # L11380 before the trip. To prevent the bearings from falling out or any dirt/debris from getting inside the hub you can put two layers of plastic wrap over the holes and rubber band them down.

Hey Patrick thanks for your question. If you want to do away with the brakes on your 8x16 dual axle trailer, you can simply remove the current hub/drums and the brake assemblies, and you can install idler hubs. There is nothing needed beyond that to fill any void. It will just be a process of swapping out the braking hubs for idler hubs. The Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K that you were looking at is made for a 3,500 lb axle and uses the standard # L68149...

Appreciate all of that info, as it's exactly what is needed to get your 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB travel trailer the correct bearings and seal. Since you have a 3,500 lb Lippert axle, the right bearing kit is the following: - Hub Bearing Kit # BK2-100 The # BK2-100 includes the bearings, races, and seal for one hub, so you'll need two per axle. Then if you need grease I recommend the Lubrimatic # L11380 and for a Bearing Packer use part # ALL647646.

The trailer suspension hanger kit # APS4 does include hangers that do not have bushings like you said. Adding bushing definitely would not hurt if they will fit. The other issue is that there are no bushing we carry that have a 9/16 inch outer diameter (which would then require a smaller bolt).
