Ellen : Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the K-Source Replacement Towing Mirror Kit. This is going to give you both the driver and passenger mirrors to help extend your field of view whenever you're towing. If you have a camper or a trailer on the back of your vehicle, a lot of times it can make it harder to change lanes, make turns because you'll have some blind spots as far as what you can see behind you. So these are going to help you to bring that mirror out a little bit further, it gives you a better field of view back to the end of your rig. So you can make sure that you can see what's going on around you at all times.The nice thing about these is that they are a custom fit design, so there's no cutting or splicing or any modifications that you have to make to your original vehicle.

It's just going to work with your factory footprint and the factory wiring to get you all those functions that you had before. So again, I've got both mirrors here, but we're going to kind of focus on one so you can see all those features. So going to place the passenger off to the side, and we're just going to look at the driver's side.So you can see that our chrome housing here looks pretty nice. As far as extending this out, you just pull it apart. And that gives you an additional three and a half inches of that mirror coming out further so that just gives you that wider field of view.

The mirror face does have an OE grade glass, and it still has that heated function. We have the factory turn signal built into the housing there. And it will also work with your power adjustment. To bring it back in you just shove it back in there, pretty easy. Should have the same footprint as that original mirror, so we've got our four studs with four new locking nuts.

And again, that wiring just plugs into your factory harness.So you have to take off the old mirror, pop this new guy on there, should be good to go. If you ever decided that you don't want to have these on there anymore, it should be pretty simple just reverse that process and put your old mirrors back on. So pretty easy to get these guys installed.If you ever need to replace just one or the other, they are also sold separately, so you can always change them out if something should happen. As far as the custom fit, this works for the 2000 through 2005 Ford Excursion and also the 2001 through 2007 Ford F 250, 350, and also for the F 350, 450 and 550 cab and chassis.That's pretty much it for our look at this kit. I think it should make a big difference as far as towing to make sure that you can see what's going on around you at all times.
