These adjustable, universal-fit towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, they can be attached to a variety of vehicles. Each of the mirrors' mounting arms is jointed behind the mirrors so the arms pivot inward or outward. 2 Additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.
Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirrors and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.
The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirrors securely over your existing mirrors. Quick-release buttons in the middle of the ratchet levers allow you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirrors. When you install the towing mirrors, use the ratchet levers to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirrors, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.
Ball joints behind the mirrors allow you to manually adjust the mirror faces to different viewing angles. You can also turn each entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirrors to prevent scratches when these mirrors are installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

Extra-large, universal towing mirrors clip over your existing side mirrors to give you an extended rear view. A ratcheting strap system creates a snug fit to reduce vibration. Easy, tool-free installation. Includes 2 mirrors. After reading lots of reviews on several mirrors, I decided to buy the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors. Oh how I wish my truck could use the ones that slip over the existing mirrors! I was prepared for a fight, based on reviews, and boy did I get one! I truly needed a third hand when figuring out how to attach these. I was bound and determined that I could do this on my own. No mirrors were going to defeat me! I did ask my husband to come look at them. He started to help but I shewed him away. After a lot of words that don’t normally come out of my mouth and a few tears, the first one was on! Then I had to go do it again in the other side! I’m pretty sure the neighbors heard me yelling. But I persisted! Lo and behold, this 67 year old Grammy did it! It was clear they would not stay on by themselves, so I grabbed a couple of bungee cords and wrapped them around the housing and they aren’t going anywhere. I have left them on my truck. No way I’m going thru that every time we return from camping. I will take them off at the end of camping season. Delivery was really fast. I was disappointed that one box was brand new and the other was smashed and taped, an obvious return. I would have been very unhappy if there was a piece missing or if something was wrong since this was my first purchase with etrailer. Overall, the mirrors work, they do not shake and I find I don’t use the truck mirrors now. Very happy with my purchase.
They were easy to install (once you figure out where the strap release button is located) and worked like a charm!
I drive a 2017 Suburban and towed a Keystone Bullet (about 8 1/2’ wide and 30’ long) 160 miles today without any issues.
The mirrors are not what I’d call pleasing to the eye, but they certainly provided an additional 18” of span, enabling me to look down the sides of the trailer and see cars behind me.

As originally mentioned, they are not pretty but they certainly do the job very well and they have become easier to take off and reinstall. I am completely satisfied with this product!
I have used these towing mirrors on my 2020 Ford Ranger for several major camping trips in the past year. They are rock solid and do not vibrate at all, even on gravel roads. The ratcheting system when properly adjusted holds the mirror firmly in place. My only issue with the convex mirror is for backing my camper into a camping space. They offer great visibility to the rear on the road, but the image is distorted enough when backing that it becomes a little tricky. I only wish that the similar K-Source towing mirror with a flat mirror had the ratcheting attachment system instead of just pull-tight straps. I would purchase those to improve my ability to back up my camper if they did.

They are still working great! I actually switched out the convex mirror for the flat one on the frame with ratcheting straps and now they are perfect!
Considering this is a universal trailer mirror, I thought the items worked very well. Yes, there is a bit of jiggle in the mirror but it is not overbearing. I've been looking for an exact fit for my 2020 Outback but there was nothing to find. Even the dealership didn't have a clue. Very happy with my purchase!

Weve used these mirrors for a total of 29 days and almost 10,000 miles. It took me a while to figure out exactly the best way to attach them, but once I had that it has been smooth sailing.
Fitted on 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax Cab w/ Stock Mirrors
No vibration issues with either mirror.
Turned left and right side clip on mirrors vertical so the did not overlap truck mirrors. Right side no problem with attachment and was able to adjust truck mirror. Could also see father back along right side of a 24’ travel trailer than just looking in truck mirror. Don’t expect to see behind on right side any vehicles tucked up close.
Left side mirror attachment had to be modified so I could adjust truck mirror without interfering with clip on mirror lower L “hooks”. I put a rubber blocks under the lower L hooks so they were low enough to get under truck mirror glass yet still clamp to truck mirror housing. A picture tells the story. 7,000 km/4,200 miles later and neither mirror has loosened or moved. No vibration or distortion. Yes, I ran 2 zip ties as safety “chains” from the back straps to truck mirror arm just in case, they’re barely snug.
I recommend these.
These are working out great! I'm now a wiz at putting them on too. They're great quality, sturdy and snug fitting. Very happy.

Still VERY happy! Easy on, easy off. They stay put with no worries. Durable too. Ive got ideas to sew a little padded bag to put them in when Im not using them.
These worked well on my 2019 Toyota Highlander. First install took a little time to get the adjustment right, but they worked well on my 300 mile trip. Had some strong desert winds make my driver side mirror fold in a few times, but I just pushed it back out and everything was good.

Mirrors are still holding up well after a year and I find them very helpful to see around the boat further down the road. Makes lane changing easier, especially on the freeways where people are usually goi g faster than you and can come up fast. I’ve got the adjustment straps down now and they are easy to put on and ratchet down. Takes me about a minute or so per side. I keep the boxes and put them I. The boxes after using them to keep them nice so that they don’t get scratched.
Installation was not quite as easy as the video on the Toyota Highlander application would have suggested, as the Toyo mirrors are oddly shaped and it took a while to find the sweet spot for the ratcheting straps. I wish the video had pointed out the flexibility of the mirror arms, which is a key to getting them installed securel. But that was okay, compared to the difficulty that it takes to adjust the extension mirrors in ANY direction. There's so much resistance that any attempt at adjustment put the entire installation at risk.
Once installed and adjusted, they're solid and do what's expected. It will take some retraining to remember the "outboard" mirrors are there but we're overall happy with our purchase.

Ive found after two trips that the mirrors dont give us any particular advantage in vision - likely because we have a Casita, which has a relatively narrow footprint. That said, we mastered installation and the mirrors were always stable in use. They just dont offer any real advantage for us.
I purchased these towing mirror extensions for my Jeep Cherokee so I could see around my camper trailer and they work great. Because they are universal you need to adjust them to fit your rear view mirror, however, once they are fitted to your car they attach snugly and do not budge. We ran into a couple at a campground that asked about them because their towing mirror extensions had actually fallen off while they were traveling. The straps for the K-Source towing mirrors actually ratchet down to your cars rearview mirror, then lock for a firm fit. We are extremely happy with our K-Source Universal Towing mirrors.

I have been using these K-Source Universal clip on towing mirrors for over a year now and I am completely satisfied. They adjust and install easily on my Jeep Cherokee, and once installed properly they dont budge. I met a guy while camping one day who was asking about them because he had bought some other brand that had fallen off on his first trip, thanks to etrailer I dont have to worry about that. If I needed another set of clip on towing mirrors I would purchase the again.
The product quality is excellent and matches the online description perfectly. Installation is quick and easy.
I am less satisfied with the delivery...I paid an extra amount for express shipping, but delivery was delayed with no explanation or updates from etrailer or shipper (UPS).

After posting my disappointment with delivery, the charges were refunded. In the mean time, the mirrors the mirrors perform excellent. This is a quality company with quality leadership. I will purchase from this company again in the furture and have recommended it to all of my friends and family.
I ordered this type of mirror because of the ratcheting mechanism. It took me 20 minutes to figure out how to slide the strap through the ratcheting mechanism. Otherwise a great product.

The mirrors work great, stay in place with the ratcheting system.
Reviewing the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Convex Mirror
Installed on a 2017 KIA Sorento LX. Clean the back of your mirrors before ratcheting these on, it will help them stay in place. I wanted the best angle possible, so I installed then further out on the mirrors. Due to the curvature of the KIA mirror housings, I was not 100% confident that I wouldn’t lose a mirror while on the road. A few zip ties around the base of the housing increased my comfort level. Mirrors held fast at highway speeds. Do they vibrate? Yes. Can I tell you the eye color of the driver in the other vehicle? No. Do they show me much more of the blind spots I cannot see with my vehicle mirrors? ABSOLUTELY. Notice the difference in which vehicles I can see in the pictures. Please excuse the dirty windows, we were camping after all.
Overall I am happy with the clip on mirrors. I will be fashioning a Velcro safety strap and would recommend something similar be added to the product.
Does not work on a Jeep - Grand Cherokee L. Have attempted numerous mounting techniques.

Everett, I hate to hear that the mirrors have not been able to be installed. Mirrors like these are tricky to install. I do have a set of mirrors that we have installed on a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, part # KS3990. I have a video below on them.
The mirrors were purchased for a trip from Ga to Anchorage, AK to assist with a 20' cargo trailer and Ford Expedition. They performed wonderfully and handled the extreme weather.

Patrick, the mirrors performed fantastic. They were exposed to extreme weather on a 5400 mi journey from Georgia to Anchorage Alaska. Vibration, sub-zero temps, shock, ice, and the elements. Made one adjustment in Kansas.
It is a universal fit, I had to add some zip ties to hold the outer strap from slipping g of the end of the mitrror.

As good as new
So far so good. I Have been using these for a year on my Ford Ranger to tow a 20 foot RV Trailer. They attach fairly easily - although you do have to be careful to adjust the mounting straps to the correct width so that you get "maximum grab". This is a bit trial and error, depending on the size and curvature of your mirror housings. I always double check the tension and fit after driving a few miles. So far I have not had them come loose in transit, they hang on well And they give me a pretty good rear view.
Easy to put on. Great vision with towing the trailer. Decided to leave them on all the time. Only problem is they are a little heavy. I felt I needed to secure them with a bit of wire. Went through the car wash without problem.
mirrors worked great, just did a 600 mile trip in 2022 toyota highlander, no issues.
I attach a large zip strip around mirror to keep it from possibly falling off, not sure if its needed but dont like to take any chances
Being new to the RV family I bought what I thought were the best mirrors for my vehicle. The process for installation of the mirrors was simple enough however you failed to mention to not over-tighten the straps which causes them to slip loose. Our first trip after 35 miles the passenger mirror fell off on the highway at 60 mph and we drove over it with the trailor. Shaken but not detered we pulled off the highway and checked for damages. All good. We stopped at the next city and was lucky enough to find a replacement mìrror the same. There is a sweet spot for the straps and if you adjust the straps to just the correct position the product works well. Inexperience is a powerfull teacher, perhaps mention not to overtighten the straps.
I reached out to customer service for advice on towing mirrors that would fit my vehicle. I was provided a response and recommendation the next day. I ordered the mirrors, received them 3 days later and they fit perfectly and was easy to install. Thanks.
We have a '18 Ford Expedition and the clamp on mirrors work fine. I wish we could have the electrically extendable mirrors on this car, but they're not available on this model. That said, the clamp on mirrors work fine.
This is the second type of towing mirrors we tried. So glad we did!! They worked as promised and didn't really move once we got them adjusted. Would recomend them to a friend.
I purchased these as a temporary solution while awaiting the custom fitting tow mirrors that fit over the standard mirrors on a 2022 F-150 Tremor with cameras and puddle lamps. These universal fit mirrors worked fine with minimal vibration - but are a bit fiddly to put on. I "improved" them with cable ties to hold the straps in place between uses and this helped but they still take a few minutes each to put on and adjust. The custom fit mirrors that replaced these take less than 30 seconds each to install. I'll keep these mirrors as a back-up pair in case the new custom fit tow mirrors ever break or go missing.

These ended up in a box in the truck bed as spares - backup for the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors I purchased later.
Nice quality. Fits my Ford Ranger, very well made and attach easily and firmly. etrailer offers excellent service and support. Highly recommend.
I only just installed the mirrors, so I haven't had a chance to check them on fhe road yet. I can say that I know the mirror has to stay in place, but they were both extremely hard to adjust the position. Loosening the screw on the back side didn't make a difference, if I was doing it correctly. On the instructional videos it would have been helpful to see a view of the passenger side mirror from the driver's position. I will be able to properly rate them after a camping trip next week.

You don't need no help, Denise! I love your award winning persistence and creativity. It's sad that you had to go through all of that work, but that is unfortunately the case often times with most towing mirrors. Bungee cords and keeping them attached till the end of the season is a great solution and should work well. I'd love to hear more from you about your trips and see some more photos.
